Did you folks do the 10K checkup? Does skipping it cause warranty problems?

My 2024 XLT hybrid is a year old, 4,900 miles. I just had the fist service done, I get free lifetime oil changes, tire rotation and inspection. I would think if you don’t have service done at required intervals whether it’s miles or time, mine will be 2 years old before it hit’s 10K, it would void the warranty.

Never heard of a free 10,000 mile check up.
I only go in for regular maintenance, oil changes and such.

OK well it wasn’t the 10K checkup sorry, just the regular maintenance. isn’t 10K the standard first oil change interval? Also they came and picked up the truck and bought it back and did the rear camera recall. We only have the one vehicle so that is a great service, they also will come to your location and do the service but we don’t have a garage or paved driveway, plus it was 113 degrees yesterday.

Don’t know about the Mavbrids but my Ecoboost got its first oil change at 3,000 miles. Because I wanted a load of
Full Synthetic In my engine.

We hardly drive it, a bit over and year and less than 5K. I think considering that and that it’s a hybrid the synth blend is OK.

Oil change interval is whatever the OLM reports if going by that. May hit 10K, may hit 1 yr first.

The 10K check is a bunch of items listed in the manual, many that allow discovering issues before they become big. Rotating tires is every 10K also. Filters are brought in at 20 & 30K, ect.

And your manual actually lists several items for 6 month check - but mainly safety things.

Owner Checks and Services
Make sure you perform the following basic maintenance checks and inspections every month or at six-month intervals.

Check Every Month
Engine oil level.
Function of all interior and exterior lights.
Tires, including spare, for wear and proper pressure.
Windshield washer fluid level.

Check Every Six Months
Battery connections. Clean if necessary.
Body and door drain holes for obstructions. Clean if necessary.
Cooling system fluid level and coolant strength.
Door weatherstrips for wear. Lubricate if necessary.
Hinges, latches and outside locks for proper operation. Lubricate if necessary.
Parking brake for proper operation.
Seatbelts and seat latches for wear and function.
Safety warning lamps (brake, ABS, airbag and seatbelt) for operation.
Washer spray and wiper operation. Clean or replace blades as necessary.
