Unlike the automatic, there are no friction materials (clutches/bands) in the hybrid transmission. Breakdown of the friction modifier additives are the main reason for changing automatic transmission fluids.

Think of the hybrid transmission as more like a manual transmission. It only contains gears and bearings so the lubricant lasts a long time.
