Attempted a search and couldn't really find anything, but what is everyone's thoughts on the 60K mile checkup?

Definitely want to keep the truck in good shape but also don't want to pay for unnecessary services that I don't need.

Oil change, engine air filter, brake fluid (3 years). I would do trans and ptu fluid if they have not been done.

I'm am assuming you're doing your own rockauto cabin air filters if you "don't want to pay for unnecessary services".

Keep your internal air clean, keeps dust down, to some extent keeps your AC coils free from enough organic debris to grow algae on.
True dat !
I like my fan output volume on high on hot days.
That algae gets really thick and can cut off a large percentage of your air flow volume.
I’ve seen the buildup. I don’t wanna breathe through that.

Back in the day it was ignored, without cleaning it got worse over time.

i'm also 74. i remember cars with the little doors under the dash one could open for an unimpeded mph jet of fresh air. Hopefully there was a screen somewhere or an entire bird might hit your legs.

Gotcha, got the transmission fluid replaced last month along with the oil. I changed the engine air filter about 1K miles ago, but not the cabin air filter.
Your tranny and PTU/RDU are different components..May wanna go ahead and get those fluids changed..
