I'm interested in seeing what these look like. But a word of caution for those of you upgrading- using tap-in connector more or less compromises the wire integrity, if you remove them and leave them open it's really asking for trouble. I would recommend touching up with liquid electrical tape...
Engineers also worked on all the systems that have resulted in multiple recalls, TSBs, failing CV axles, bad batteries, and issues we haven't seen yet. They are people and employees subject to deadlines and cost cutting and even make mistakes. Other people can know things too. Don't be afraid to...
Set of four brand new OEM Ford centercaps. These are black background with chrome Ford script. These came stock on BAP and other similar equipped Mavericks. Be careful shopping around, these are not cheap counterfeit copies, they came directly from Ford and are the best quality. Good for...
This is a brand new OEM F150 LED 3rd Brake Light. This fits the Maverick, I have one installed and it fits, works, and looks perfect. I ended up with two -- problem is this one does not have the wire harness attached. All this needs is the correct connector to plug in or maybe solder directly to...
Cleaning up around here and wanting to pay it forward this time of year.
New/tried on Mabett Hitch Filler Plate. Ceramic Coated. Does Not Have the 4-pin filler piece. **FREE** Just pay shipping.

Typically the BRAKE light on the dash illuminates for the parking brake or for low brake fluid. I wouldn't think it would be low on fluid without some type of warning light or message. This sounds like something more.
I'd like to see how it would look. If it integrates well, Id be interested. Would also like to know if it could be installed and/or remain installed with a tailgate extender.
First mention of this. Wonder if you didn't cut enough of the tabs off? I actually used a Dremel and sanding drum on mine so they are perfectly smooth. I doubt it's a problem with the bulbs themselves, especially if both are acting the same. Possibly the Last bulbs caused the contacts to spread...
Sorry you're going through this. I don't think you're alone -- there are a ton of those counterfeit sensors all over eBay for too-good-to-be-true pricing. Some probably work somewhat and maybe some are just duds. My best advice at this point would be to head back to the tire shop that mounted...
They are typically called cage nuts. Not impossible to find, but not a local hardware store item either. I also had an ear break off one but managed to still use it. If looking for replacements, I think you will want to search for M12 cage nuts and you should get some hits.
Few examples...
Was curious about a couple things and will keep looking. One of the interesting things I noticed is the new 2.0 Ecoboost has a 6.1qt oil capacity and uses a new FL-2127 oil filter. That really drove my curiosity so I started digging and it looks like these new filters are about the same size as...
Looks like you did well on the wheels and tires.
FYI, those TPMS sensors are all over eBay for $35 or less a set and they are certainly counterfeit. That doesn't mean they won't work, but they may not work as well or last as long. Even buying aftermarket sensors in bulk (bags of 50) for the...
You enjoying paying extra for things that don't work right and then fixing it. Got it.
I don't reward companies that make false promises and rip people off, I call them out. I'll also let people know which companies to support as well. I have done both many times here and helped a lot of...
