I'm not sure a Macan would be commonly cross shopped with a Maverick, but we did own a 2015 and sold it in 2020 and missed it ever since. Our Porsche dealer made a strong offer on the Maverick and had what I was looking for, so I made the trade.
My Lariat Lux is on its way to a new home. I had hoped I would love it, but I was just disappointed with it every drive. I probably expected more from it than it was ever going to be.
Yes, I still have another coming. It is not for flips, it is for a family member.
I've never had a car of any age or price rattle as much as the Maverick. Hell, it's not even really "rattles" so much as it sounds like panels flapping around. It's not one or two, either, where they might could be isolated and fixed. The bass heavy B&O certainly does not help these, either. It...
I think getting what you paid for means something different. I don't think you should ever get poor build quality on a modern car, and it certainly shouldn't be excused because it's only X amount of $. Some of the things like lack of sound deadening and stuff like that, yes, that falls under...
Mine is also a Lariat Luxury. I believe you followed my post which is really simple.
So you go out driving and set the cruise control and turn on lane centering and what happens? An error?
I'm glad you cited examples. I've been pretty critical of my Maverick Lariat Hybrid, but I've not taken time to comb over it for specific examples. I can only say that it does not feel like it is put together particularly well and that has led me to explore other options much quicker than I...
The Hyundai/Kia 1.6T paired with the dry clutch 7-speed DCT is probably their most reliable powertrain over the past several years. That doesn't mean it is #1 in customer satisfaction. One of my friends is a Kia master tech and according to him he almost never sees a failure of either of these...
We loved it. As a summer car, I'd highly recommend it. You can't have more fun for that amount of money anywhere else.
As a daily driver.. some people can make that work but that is not ideal.
I never said the Integra "needed" 16 speakers in 16 locations (it's not using coax). That's just what they chose to do. As to whether or not this same quality could be had with far less, I'll take your word for it. All I know is that the system sounds far better than you'd expect in a car of...
I mean, they could still use a twist beam rear suspension and have AWD if they wanted to. Mazda does this.
Not saying that's the answer, but it is possible.
To be fair the wireless chargers in all of my vehicles have been quite poor. They don't discharge obviously, but they don't do much in the way of charging either. And I'm talking about phones that are not being used for anything, just sitting on the charger. This is by no means a Maverick issue...
Well they didn't really drop it so much as put it only on the top trim for 2022. For 2023 now you have to spend even more, as it is a part of yet another package you have to add on to your Lariat w/luxury package.
Does the SC trim you bought have LED headlights? I was under the impression that the SC didn't get LEDs until you reached the top end, and I stopped buying cars with halogens at least a decade ago.
I'm just curious. I like the SC and think Hyundai does a great job with basically all of their...
I mean, it was negative.. but it was also honest. Like you, I waited for a very long time for this thing. You and I over on the October orders thread... We tracked the rail cars, we tracked the trucks. I flew to PA... I was excited. Hell, I waited longer for the Maverick than I have kept a lot...
