Our BS took about 14 days. Built 2/24, shipped 2/26, at Granger 3/9-10. They contacted me 3/13 about it's arrival. It wasn't ready for about a week after that. 4-6 weeks after shipping is a safe plan as far as making travel arrangements.
They have a LOT of trucks scheduled/unbuilt. My 42,000 VIN just built today. Some 30k+ trucks scheduled into July. Ford will need to shift BS production in order to get this done. 3rd shift in July won't knock these out.
The BS has the Big Bend emblem, which does not have the locking rear diff and advanced traction control. Might have made a difference, and maybe not. Big Bend is a very decent off roader. I would not have feared trying what the photo shows. It's designed for that kind of situation, though...
looks great! Got my wife a BS BB last month. Really wanted the AWD and all the safety features (has 360+, adaptive cruise, lane centering, etc. will basically drive and stop itself). I'm thinking these features will come in handy to keep her mobile into her 80's.
Oddly, the 2023 BS...
go Granger! Finish line in sight. Hoping you get lots of dealer stock 2023's coming your way in July.
Am checking vehicle tracker daily for the window sticker. Got bumped from 5/18 to 5/17 today. Probably won't see the sticker for 5-7 more days, but that day will be a big milestone. 16...
I dislike remote started vehicles at my rural farm. Too many loose cats, and they don't stand a chance vs a remote start. Had one up in a BEV vehicle one time, fortunately it got out after a few feet of motion. No belts/fans in a BEV.
many are stressing about the '24, already.
Some points: economy not so strong now, inflation and interest rates high, and supply issues not nearly so big. Third shift coming on board shortly. Bronco Sport production has got to shift, with large inventories already present.
Dealer lots are...
It really gets down to what your local dealers offer for pricing. Granger may/may not have any "deals" on '24 orders.
As far as honesty, value, friendliness--Granger checks all the boxes for an exceptional experience, should your local dealer not be willing to compete on price.
I had a positive experience with Montway who transported our Bronco Sport from Granger to Fresno, CA. $1249.
We will likely do a meet and greet vacation to Iowa and back when the weather improves this summer, to pick up the Mav. Depending on how busy we are when the Mav comes, could be...
Thats THE question. FMC will have a lot of head scratching to do if they don't fill the 2023 orders. Main issue being the out of control ordering that some dealers allowed. Will Ford award vehicles to these dealers, or instead build dealer stock for those dealers that have allocations but no...
it does seem that rollover EB's converted to hybrid haven't been a problem. Probably, the majority of Mavs rolled over were EB's.
It's all getting down to allocations, basically. Granger fortunately seems to have more than enough to cover us.
I see two more Granger hybrids scheduled today. Lofton and Adamgratton.
Congrats! Probably a few more that haven't posted.
I am surprised that Ford seems to be focussed on working through the hybrid orders. Doesn't seem fair to the EB orders that are getting passed over.
March did not have a shift in Bronco Sport vs Maverick production. Still following the 60/40 blend. Unsold BS inventory now at 22,700 units.
Reason? Guessing maybe parts constraints. It may not pencil, making higher profit vehicles when both dealer and FMC have to offer discounts to push...
Added MTC benefit: SAT test preparation. Binge read, and good to go! LOL. Some not so great humor for the day. May the MAV be with everyone on Thursday.
I don't think you will have an issue with Granger. They have less than 30 orders left to complete this year.
Ford, on the other hand, will have a lot of head scratching to do if they don't fill the 2023 orders. Main issue being the out of control ordering that some dealers allowed. Will...
