  1. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

it's a good plan. It pencils without consideration of taxes and DMV fees. Here in California, figure those will run 10-12% of the total cost. A second vehicle incurs those costs all over again. Its not pretty trying to flip vehicles.
  2. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

Thanks for posting! and confirming the "Granger Team". I look forward to that same experience. Just curious, how did you transfer money to them? When I make the trip from California, I'd like to know if a cashier's check will be needed, etc.
  3. New Ford email: Co-Pilot36 package, XLT Luxury package, and Lariat Luxury package face strongest constraints

Yes, transparency seems to be key and it would undoubtedly lessen the impact on us as customers! You make good points from the customer standpoint, but please remember that Ford (and most businesses) do not typically want to tip their hands regarding legitimate orders, demand, etc, that might...
  4. Truck broke down! Front axle and transmission issue after 60 miles

Thanks Matt for the recap! I love the old stuff, but it sure can drive us crazy (what were they thinking? NOT, evidently). On the Ford side, the 61-67 Econoline pickups had many issues. I know because I've had three, and still have two. First major issue was that all the weight was up front...
  5. $500 Rebate Reward from Ford for Farm Bureau members — Only $20 for anyone to join

Ok so there is a "secret" formula for entering membership #. I tried a couple dozen times with the failure notice...two months after joining...even tried disabling my popup blocker for the site...what worked for me: Number provided on membership card: Mem# 015 - 1236125 A This was the...
  6. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

thanks Zach for the update! I really appreciate Granger. Excellent strategy, taking care of both your customers and yourself will pay big in coming years.
  7. Anyone ordered from Granger got Build email - (3000 off msrp offers only) ?

I'm good with a 2023 delivered in September/October, 8-10months per the offer. IIRC Oct 24th was the production start date for the 2023 MY...with production stopped about Oct 1st for 2022? That sounds to me that any September/October delivery will still be a 2022 built in August/September...
  8. For those who did the $3000 off from Granger offer - What did you order?

XLT Lux, co pilot 360, FWD, manual sliding rear window. Cactus Grey.
  9. Farm Bureau $500 Incentive

I didn't realize someone can randomly pick a farm bureau, and not the one in their jursidiction. Did the application give you any trouble?
  10. Farm Bureau $500 Incentive

Fresno County FB membership $175/yr. Everything mucho here in CA.
  11. Is factory tint standard?

I did a quick search but could not see any info. All the Mavs on the Ford site have tinted windows. No options for "tint". How does the truck come from the Factory?
  12. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

I'm giving this a go, hopefully it works out. XLT with Lux, 360copilot, sliding rear window. Cactus Grey. All the heavy duty packages for towing/AWD seem more fitted to a larger truck. But the safety stuff, 8way driver seat with lumbar, heated seats, are really nice for longer trips...
  13. Maverick is Detroit Free Press 2022 Truck of the Year

I've not seen any mentions of the Maverick being similar to the SportTrac. The dual cab, rear IRS in the later model, and cleverness in designing the bed--all features in the Maverick. But the Maverick drive train options, that is what really makes it unique. I shopped the SportTrac for some...
