my Bronco Sport order is on the production line at Hermosillo. Modules haven't popped yet, so engine not started. Went in yesterday.
Those of you that have been there recently, is it about a month between the "built" email and delivery at Granger? I'm thinking of booking a flight at the end...
So did you also convert to a '23 hybrid in September? We were EcoBoosts in the Jan '22 order. I'm a hybrid now. That could have been a bad move if Ford doesn't figure out that rollovers have priority (one of the reasons I switched drivetrains, Ford's assurance that rollovers would be on top).
the ordering process w/Granger started 1/14/22, first quote came 1/18/22, a modification 1/21/22, and the document signing completed 1/25/22 7:39pm.
Was a PC 14 at the end of November. Not sure what number I am in line, but scheduling is all on Ford now, not Granger.
That's physically not possible. Even the best EV's can manage less than 5miles per kWh, and the Mav's battery is 1.1 kw. So tops all electric is less than 6 miles. Not trying to argue, just letting other people know that this isn't a PHEV with 18-20miles range like the CMAX Energi with a...
The "normal" process is that you get a "week" (starting on Monday) and as the vehicle gets closer to production, you get a "day".
My Bronco Sport "week" per the email, was 2/20. The tracker is now showing a build day of 2/23. Yes, I understand it still says "week" on the tracker, but that...
too bad we can't arrange a swap, my Granger XLT hybrid hasn't been scheduled yet and likely won't arrive before April/May. Meanwhile, we also ordered a Bronco Sport and that is supposed to be built next week. So maybe end of March delivery for it? Or April? With two of them to deal with, we...
I vote for luck. Why not just add the LUX package (which includes the hitch) and is under capacity, just like SIBL. That combo should have guaranteed a build also.
BTW I'm XLT/LUX/Hybrid/SIBL. '22 order rolled over still waiting, dealer with allocations in hand but only a handful being...
Same deal for me too. I'm blessed to have a company F-150 XLT, and yes, very nice truck (other than the crappy handling and having my lunch box go flying on corners). But I'm so glad I do not have to put gas in that puppy, $300/month at least.
Years ago the Subaru Baja came out, and I told...
Makes sense, but I do not see the constrained items holding up things at this point. Ford is ramming through PLENTY of orders that have so called constraints. Since orders are being scheduled into April now, and supposedly with parts on hand rather than parts coming, the "supply shortages"...
Same date here, we likely have the same PC and will get scheduled very soon. I believe Granger has the allocations, it is on Ford right now to step up and do what they said they would do: schedule '22 rollovers and cancelled VINS first.
There has been an abundance of new orders scheduled...
am seeing a lot more XL hybrids this time. January was mostly high end hybrids.
Still NADA, Jan 26 2022 about 380 days waiting. Wish Ford would honor their rollover priority.
Nice! Have the same rack in my shop (just no MAV ).
I have been curious regarding the difficulty of raising that rack up to the next height position (eg to clear the antenna, etc). Looks like it might be a two person job?
