I think this answered my question. I'll confirm later. I think this cover comes off just like the F150. The only difference is that the Maverick has a sticker covering the release tab. I'll apply a little heat to this sticker and remove it. I think I feel the release tab below it.
The pin I...
I would appreciate someone with the know how to remove the painted fuel door cover on a hybrid to tell me how to do it. Perhaps someone with access to Ford service manuals could chime in. I want to remove to service the door's locking pin.
It's probably pretty simple if you know how to do it...
I would like to know how to do this as well. MegaOhm makes a billet aluminum door pin for the Powerboost (I have one). This pin looks a lot like the Maverick's pin. If so, I want to replace the plastic pin.
If take the one on the lot....assuming your not getting screwed on price. You'll have lane centering so the truck can drive itself. Hear me now and believe me later, the truck steering itself is worth every penny the option costs.
* Don't tell me the truck won't do this. It will. I drive hands...
I have them installed. The fit is great. The coverage is super. So far I haven't felt the need to use the little holding tabs since the floor pan is deep well.
You either have the money or you don't. If you have it then get the Lariat and check all the boxes. Cheap out on other things, but get the best car you can.
I checked all the boxes on a Lariat. My truck is mostly used by myself or my son. It's primarily a one person vehicle. Given this it has pretty much everything while keeping the overall line up price point down. There is one change I'd like though. I don't think the 23's will have this change...
I got a hybrid for MPG. As for winter driving use winter tires. They do make all the difference in the world. If you can't get around in a FWD Maverick with winter tires you probably shouldn't be out driving. Wait for the roads to be plowed. Hopefully your area does in fact plow the roads.
I just finished a roundtrip PA to SC. I didn't think to try out my Torque app on the trip. I wish I had. Anyhow, on the trip I easily got 40+ MPG. Knowing speed kills I had my cruise set at 60. I was in no hurry. I do this trip twice a year. I hate I-95. Best drive I've had because I used the...
I haven't looked at this document thoroughly yet, but it looks interesting.

I did a quick test tonight. My son followed me while we communicated over the phone. He never saw brake lights during any use of regenerative braking. It didn't matter if I was using LOW or not. I can't say regenerative braking never ever activates the brake lights, but apparently it doesn't...

Does the brake lights activate when decelerating?
I wonder about this also. I haven't checked. I watched a YouTube video on the Powerboost and asked this same question. I'm going to have to have my son follow me and report on it. The enhanced "braking"...
