I can't explain it, but I believe the high mileage reports. I've exceeded EPA estimates too. One thing none of us know is how the vehicle calculates average MPG. We think we know, but we don't. There is verbage in the owners manual that implies - if not outright says - electric miles are not...
If you use this trim you could try filling the trim with high temperature grease. It shouldn't do any harm. It'll fill any voids. It'll repel water and protect against rust. I would imagine It'll make removal a breeze. Maybe too easy.
This can't be a question for anybody in my boat; Lariat Lux and checked all the boxes. No regrets at all There are things I would like to have but these simply were not offered. I'm interested in how bloated the Maverick will get in the coming model years.
For the hybrid I don't think LOW does anything for moving the vehicle forward. It seems to only increase the regenerative braking effect.
The only thing I find in the owners manual is the following: "LOW (L) This mode is for driving on steep slopes. The transmission will hold low gear for...
I'm considering the Retrax for two reasons; 1) security, and 2) the t-slot rails. Lordy is this cover expensive. I don't like losing bed length, but the t-slot rails can give this space back and then some. I'll probably go with the Retrax unless I talk myself out of it.
I like this. It seems to be simplest way to mount a phone in the most logical place. When my truck comes in - early May - I'll look closer at this option.
IMO the Maverick is good transportation, has a little truck capability, and all for a low price. I don't see a lot of value in the Ranger regardless of your intended use. I say get a Maverick or an F150. The Ranger is butt ugly too....again, IMO.
I'm looking for feedback from people that have replaced the OEM two-piece factory lug nuts. I haven't received my truck yet to verify this for myself yet and a forum search didn't return what I was looking for. I'm guessing that a 60° conical seat, 14x1.5 threads, 1.4" length, 3/4" hex lug nut...
Reading through this post. I'm gathering that the Ford TruXedo roll up cover and the TruXedo TruXport roll up cover are the same except for the Ford branding. This cover is a trapezoidal shape both lengthwise and widthwise. Lengthwise some are saying their cover is 55" long at it longest point...
You should not pay this. This is typical dealer add on stuff. They are not out any money if you don't pay it. If one out of ten pay this they break even. Besides, the "etching" may be done, but how do you know the cleaning and paint protection has actually been done. I bet they don't do this (if...
Update: I checked the tracking site and today - 04/04/2022 - my truck shows built and awaiting shipment.
Edit: I just received the built email from Ford a few minutes ago.
My order was confirmed 7/09. I was given a build date of 3/28. Mine shows in production. All week it has shown this. Anyhow, are you able to print a window sticker yet?
I'm wondering about 245/55-18. Same diameter as the stock 225/60-18. Width is 0.7" wider. Is there clearance inside the front tires for an additional 0.35" tire width? I don't want bigger, just wider.
D'oh! This issue slipped my mind. The two-piece lug nuts suck and can leave you stranded. I replaced these on my F150 and Navigator. I'll be doing the same on the Maverick. I suggest everybody else do so too.
My order was confirmed 07/09/2021.

You'll have full control over your phone's SiriusXM app through Android Auto or CarPlay. Once you establish a connection you can put your phone away. If you choose not to use one of these protocols and only connect your phone to your Maverick by Bluetooth, you will need select your phone as the...
I funded on Idiegogo and Kickstarter the CARSIFI campaigns. I'm still waiting on delivery. Fingers crossed there will be delivery. But hey, this Motorola dongle sounds great. I tried out a buddy's Amazon dongle that worked, but sucked. It was an andriod device itself that only needed your phone...
