The truck has our full bolt ons on it. Our 3" intake, our front mount intercooler, our cutback and our Pro vented catch can along with a custom Buschur tune from 5Star, 93 octane.
He's a really good driver for as little seat time as he gets now-a-days. I bought him a kart when he was maybe 13 and we did some karting/competing. He's been super busy working the last few years and hasn't raced.
Here is the record setting 1/4 mile video, also the final round, where my son broke out with a 13.56, taking 2nd.
The other is of the autocross portion of the event, he placed 4th in a field of AWD cars.
Also a picture of the truck doing some three wheel action on the autocross course.
Enjoy!
No matter how hard you push the truck the tires won't spin on the street or track in a straight line. The draggy is pretty close, the best I've seen on the Draggy in the heat of the summer was a 13.72 at 98-99.
I gave up dyno'ing the truck months and months ago. It's a PITA, locking it into gear through the ECU, posting numbers and gains that haters say aren't correct. I think after this what we've done and claimed is quite clear. Thank you also!
We just finished our 29th Annual Shootout. This year we added a few additional classes over our typical Mitsubishi only event. One of the classes was the Ecoboost class.
My son, Zachary drove the truck, he's never been in it before. First day was the autocross, this is a race through cones...
