Our intercoolers just went on sale for Black Friday today! Have to call us for sale pricing, 567-424-0471. The downpipe will come when we get a turbo. I don't believe the TB spacer is going to give you anything at all.

  5. Buschur's 2.0 EcoBoost air intake dyno'd and ready. +26 whp and +17 ft lbs of torque

I gave up on the turbo company we were working with, asked them to send it back, it's been atleast 9 months and it was never started. Talking with someone else now.
  6. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

Think of it like this, you've got a 400 pound line backer in front of you pushing as hard as he can against a 75 pound child. Now have that same 400 pound guy stand completely limp and have that same 75 pound child push against him.
  7. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

You're making me think! The reason is going to be because the ridiculously high cylinder pressure on top of the piston aren't offset by the small amount of pressure on the bottoms but freeing up that pressure on the down stroke relates to more horsepower.
  8. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

Personally, I'd go to get checked and see if the pass it. Then if it doesn't it's easy to put back to stock.
  9. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

567-424-0471 if you'd like to call or just order the standard can and put a note you want the vented Pro can, it's $329. I have one in stock, we are building more.
  10. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

The logging to monitor crankcase pressure is more involved than looking at just a boost/vacuum gauge. The running vacuum, (driving down the road/idle) stays constant when logging, so the engine produces vacuum as it normally would, it's measured in the intake plenum (typically anyway) as is...
  11. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

The can catches the oil, unburnt fuel, contaminates in the can itself. The vent on the can vents the crank case pressure, which I am sure carries some of that crap in it but the absolutely majority of it is caught in the can. The cans are packed with a stainless steel wool material that helps...
  12. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

The only place I see having an issue with this is a visual check, it causes no check engine lights and has no effect on the actual emission standards the truck puts out. For the Greta's in here, what it does do is keeps the foul oil and contaminates from being burnt in the combustion cycle...
  13. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

No, I haven't and I don't believe any company on the planet has done that testing on a Maverick.
  14. Buschur's Vented Pro Catch Can

If you aren't in a place where you have emission testing the vented can is the way to go. It's 100% separated from allowing any vapors/oil/contaminates to get back to the intake tract at all. The vent on the top along with the additional port on the engine (oil cap) eliminates all engine crank...

    Thank you very much!
  16. DSport Magazine

Morning! There's a great write up in DSport Magazine this month about the 29th Annual Shootout, which added an Ecoboost class this year and our shop Maverick took 2nd place in the drag class and 4th in the Autocross. Also for many who don't truly understand the purpose of a catch can and the...
  17. Buschur's Maverick runs 13.2s @ 102.4mph

If the track is open this weekend I think we will get awfully close to a 12....
