I'll get a few grand off my EV here in California,
they just know once everyone drive a EV here they will charge even more for registration. While I have no special "fee" for the Maverick I'd guess it will be at least 150+ a year.
There is a Toyota, google it some will come up. Problem is some States have manipulated it all so manufacturers will flood their states with these "preferred" cars far over other states. Think about it, if a State gets a LOT of cars sold with $7,500 tax credits that is a LOT of extra tax $...
Ok, since this thread has went wild...
Long long ago, in a Cadillac Far away, they build a accurate fuel gauge on a Vehicle.
Low and behold right after filling up the readout would start to fall.
A rebellion ensued and the Sales of this accurately reading Cadillac took a severe nosedive.
Never...
If you don't need a truck bed then there are better Hybrid AWD options that have those perks like ACC/lane centering for around the same price you can get that loaded lariat for, but come with a better build quality and nicer interior.
If you need a truck though you need a truck.
Nothing...
The point is that they will be a reserve in the tank for air, if the air side has any sort of leak (say the tab on the VW's didn't make a good seal) then it will allow the tank to be overfilled.
Do you KNOW how a Maverick tank is exactly built?
If so, you should have responded with that...
XL with Factory cruise installed
SIBL, wheels, XL badges and lower plastic under doors are all the same color (lower plastic is spray in bed liner).
Simply put I moved from a Leaf to the Maverick and now I'm moving back to a EV since I have solar and miss the "free gas".
It sits right...
I've seen mine make clunks (relays going on/off) 12 hours past when I drove it.
I've also had to jump it once from a complete dead 12v battery.
I've gotten a LOT of "12v system low so shutting off remote features) despite driving my car every day.
I don't know about other new cars, but a...
call your dealer with questions, they put mine on the wrong account email (despite they actually put the app on my phone with my email being a part of it!). it took them some digging to figure out where they went (my points). I now have them though.
I seriously doubt they make any gas tank that has no expansion room. Even my Daihatsu mini truck has this feature...Unless somehow Gasoline no longer expands when heated on a warm day.

While that doesn't cover...
My dealer was trying to move mine from it (literally) when I got into contact with them yesterday.... He didn't say if it changed or not and I really don't want to bother them (they have been on top of it so far). I'm one of the few that says "wish Ford WAS my dealer".
I'm on the cusp of buying a AWD Hybrid SUV... If you look at the features of it and could price out a similar Maverick they are spot on close to price, but with much better quality, but in SUV form.
Here is hoping that Ford has not scheduled any more fresh MY2023's these last few weeks in...
Mine is loud AF.
My drive is right past a blind corner on a State Highway and angles sharp (no right turn coming out of my driveway for me). I used to either let my window down or open drivers door to listen for cars coming in before that sharp curve. Now if I open my door car puts in in...
I read some of the reply's but stopped.
VW used the same tanks in gas/diesels back when I owned them. Diesel owners would remove the tab that is there for expansion of gas and put in a few extra gallons (I never removed mine but if I was on a long trip I'd push the tab in to get those...
I re read the memo and your right...November 9th was a deadline to make sure duplicate order #'s were not given to fresh My2023 orders.
Now I see Ford didn't give a date for actually moving them and instead says "over the coarse of the next 2 to 3 weeks" but does give a hard date for dealers...
I got like 11 "deep sleep" notifications in like 10 minutes today... Are there issues? sometimes.
My issue is more with Fords lack of management, which I think flows down into quality control. Any company that repeatedly cites false reasons for their issues is sus imo.
Been enough people saying they were last day ordering MY2023's and already have VIN's to know Dealerships are filling up their allocations pretty fast. Being a 2 means little, some sat there for many many many months and finally got VIN's and are now in with this group (cancelled). Ford will be...
