Just got back from a 2,500 mile and 650 mile trip camping in PA, the Carolinas, Smokies, Tennessee, Kentucky, and points west. The Mav pulled 3,200 pounds through the East with no problems.
I'm sure it has it's use but the wife wanted something a little more secure for our camping gear. I wanted something that would not increase drag when on and sturdy enough so we could still carry the canoes on top of.
None yet but I'm sure it will as the Mav isn't really designed for a cap the way the top edge of the box is, especially the front which channels water into the box, not away.
