Yes, the amber fogs are very bright when on. When off they are just a small glowing rectangle.

I'm sure it has it's use but the wife wanted something a little more secure for our camping gear. I wanted something that would not increase drag when on and sturdy enough so we could still carry the canoes on top of.

A cap is a good excuse to not have to move things for others. Can rent a full size pick up here for 20 bucks.

Old thread but I'll chime in. I tow at 60-65 mph max. So far towing both of these on the highway at around 2,800 pounds each I get about 17 mpg with the smaller one the right loaded, and 13 mpg towing the larger one unloaded. Amount of frontal area is everything at highway speeds. I expect when...
