Same with most EVs.
People don't want to buy 10yr old 100k EVs fearing battery condition, unlike regular cars at that age. PLUS regular cars that old are way cheaper.
Also if the auto hold or parking brake are turned on and you put in gear then push the gas for a couple seconds it will turn off the park brake and start to move.
We've had 'deep sleep' notifications at least monthly over 2 years but never once had issues with the truck starting. The deep sleep notification also shuts off additional 'features' to make sure the 12v has enough juice to fire the computers to start.
Recently we had sporadic issues with the...
My fob was triggering the panic alarm ALL THE TIME. I dripped some superglue into the cracks on both sides of the alarm button, it hasn't gone off since. I wonder if it would work if I really mashed on it.
Due to very unfortunate incidents of people getting crushed by vehicles, they're trying to dummy-proof cars rolling when the driver is not driving.
Don't forget the Maverick doesn't have the traditional neutral like any manual or automatic transmission- the gears are always connected. If...

Silly Murricans like the "cleaner" look of all red on the back.
But after decades of driving and living 9+ years on other continents, amber is absolutely superior for turn signals. Other drivers' brains register immediately the difference between turning and "Oh now they're braking too!"
OR they're selling lots of them- still cheaper than F150s?
Some of the people who would buy a big big truck may buy littler fully loaded truck. And which one does the dealership make more money on?
