  1. Eco Boost?

Entire head and fuel injection system was changed for '25.
  2. Rodent damage

They come in my garage. Found some in my Mustang, but other than some turds they did not damage anything. So far so good with the Maverick. Put traps out and caught 2 mice immediately. Seems like they were the only ones. Moth balls, a lot of moth balls, seem to keep them away. Usually.
  3. 2025 Maverick Eruption Green BAP - Fifteen52 Metrix MX wheels + 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail tires

The bronze wheels and that green go together really well. Very nice!
  4. Larger tires for 2024 Lariat

    29.5" 245/65R17, or 29.6" 245/55R19 are perfect.
  5. Crash & Totaled. Unibody Bent

No, people in general are just getting stupider. Actually driving the vehicle is a lot less important to most of them than playing with their phone in the vehicle.
  6. Large drop in my Carvana offer????

Lots of factors. It has been brutally cold in most of the country. People just aren't out car shopping. That's just one thing that affects prices.
  7. TK's 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Ecoboost (upgraded from 2022 XLT)

Price protection, for whatever reason, would be up to the dealer. The info should be in your sales contract. The government isn't promising anything. The tarrif thing with Trump is just one of many tools he will use to negotiate any number of economic/migration issues with Mexico and Canada. He...
  8. TK's 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Ecoboost (upgraded from 2022 XLT)

You've got to be kidding. Nothing like that will ever happen that fast. Probably won't ever happen. Relax.
  9. Pics & Review of my ‘25 Maverick XL Hybrid Velocity Blue

Great color choice. Wheels are nice!
  10. Varying “miles till empty” after fill up

It's not accurate. They are all that way.
  11. Gas gauge

    Overcomplicatedness.
  12. Had a minor accident-seeking advice on settling without claiming on insurance

I had similar damage on a Subaru, and mostly due to having to repaint about 1/2 of the car to get everything to color-match (white pearl color), it ended up being $4800! Maybe you do want to put in an insurance claim? Stuff gets real expensive real fast these days.
  13. Gas gauge

It seems like the user interface, and ergonomics, gets worse and worse with each re-design of most vehicles. Wouldn't you think it would be just the opposite? It's as if they hired a bunch of morons to design this stuff. (and it's not just Ford)
  14. Lighted Front Grille Ford Oval for 2025 Mavericks

It's way bigger than all the previous years.
  15. Lighted Front Grille Ford Oval for 2025 Mavericks

That frosted look just ain't right. Yuck! (IMHO of course).
  16. 245/65 or 245/70 Tires for Tremor?

I'd say with any decent accumulation of ice/snow in the wheelwell, you're going to tear something up. Why buy a tire that really does not fit? Maybe in TX the ice isn't a concern. But it probably is for most of us.
  17. AWD Fault after adjusting tire diameter

I've had a couple cops tell me at 11 over, you will get a ticket for sure if they clock you on radar. Up to 9 over, you'll probably get away with it. But 34 in a 25 zone is a lot different than 74 in a 65 zone.
  18. AWD Fault after adjusting tire diameter

Why bother messing with it? Factory speedometers, and odometers are not known for their accuracy anyway. At a possible 1% deviation from what you think it is supposed to be, it's entirely possible you actually made it more accurate. Or not. Mine is in theory off 3%. Just remember you are going a...
  19. Black Appearance Package (BAP) Hood Graphics - XLT vs Lariat (photos)

I think that would take a real long time with today's UV-resistant cleacoats. But if for some strange reason the color had changed, you could re-apply the stripes (which I'm sure are expensive), or put some more tasteful kind of graphics on there (like this...
  20. Black Appearance Package (BAP) Hood Graphics - XLT vs Lariat (photos)

Heat gun, and then peel them off. You might need some 3M adhesive remover too. Or any competent body shop could take them off. I wouldn't wat too long though. The longer they are on there, more chance of something going wrong.
