Just use full synthetic oil that meets the required specifications. Because it was cheaper than anything else here, I recently bought O'Reilly Auto Parts full synthetic oil for mine, and have always used Wix filters. Brand of oil does not matter, as long as it meets specs and you change it at...
So hail isn't an "act of god"? Sounds like the company is saying the owner caused the hail, and it's his fault. I seriously doubt if denying coverage like this is even legal. I'd like to see how that policy reads.
You can use it anywhere. I used it on the rear. Just drill a few holes in new locations, then use the self tapping screws to attach the bracket. The plate mounts to the bracket with 4 machine scews. All the hardware is stainless steel. It is absolutely perfect for the Maverick!
Yeah you did. There has been a 2.5% tariff on importing Japanese cars to the U.S. (25% on trucks), just about forever. You didn't even notice it. Because a tariff won't appear on an invoice. It's built into the MSRP.
The manufacturer or importer sets the MSRP, which will include the tariff. Tariff is paid when the vehicle or its parts cross the border(s). It is not up the dealer to collect the tariff from anybody.
They can't tell you anything. Nobody knows. And nobody is going to pay 25% more for a Maverick. If you do, you are nuts! You'll be looking at a $50K vehicle (or close to it). No way.
All I was trying to say is that you won't see a line-item called "Tarrif" on a new vehicle window sticker or invoice. It does not work that way. Japanese cars have been subjected to US tarrifs forever. Have you ever seen that on a window sticker? I have not. And it better not show up as a "tax"...
But tariffs are never applied that way, far as I know. There have been tariffs on thousands of products coming into the U.S, for years. You'll never see it listed as a "tax" on a sales invoice. It's appliied at the border, and it is up to the importerto pay it. If, and how, the importer get the...
It isn't a "tax". The manufacturer, not the dealer, not the state, not the government decides on price increases due to tarrifs or any other reason. How the tarrif will affect the price the manufacturer decides to charge you, is up to them. Some manufactuers will not change prices immediately...
Those are the best looking ones I've seen! What holds the lens to the housing? I see some drilled holes in the housing. Did you drill and tap holes in the lens for some screws? Also, how do you keep the space behind the lens from filling with water?
Disagree. I bought off-the-shelf Russell Performance braided SS lines for my Cobra, and they are DOT-approved. They do not show any SS lines for the Maverick, but you could always check.
You can change many factory settings. For example, I used it to make the "stop-start" system default to "off". Removed all the seat belt warning screens and chimes too.
