I wouldn't bet on that. They will produce original 23s almost immediately based on trim and unconstrained items going to their large volume dealers. To think they will build nothing but rolled over 22 orders is laughable.
I'd say he is at least at the 9 month mark. Scheduling is 2 months out plus a month for delivery. You got lucky with getting yours in 6 months, lots of folks are already looking at a year plus. Soon 18 months won't be unheard of. Model year rollover notices coming soon will show a crap ton of...
Hell, my dealer told me there was a good shot mine wouldn't be built as a 22 when I ordered mid January. I think they knew they weren't going to have many allocations and I haven't heard squat from them or Ford since then. I agree with your bold prediction about 40% of orders getting rolled...
I think much like your Bronco order, Maverick builds with constraints at invisible dealers will be measured in years, not months. They are new so you hear 8-9 months or now pushing a year. By this time next year you will be hearing stories of 18 months, maybe 2 years.
Dig into these threads and you will find plenty of examples. But, if you believe what Ford says, good luck with your 23 order and maybe you will have your Maverick sooner than most.
If that were true, then why are there so many orders from last summer still unscheduled while some January orders are being built already. Constraints are a huge factor, but I see no evidence that they have changed their system.
That is not realistic IMO. Constrained orders from dealers who are not a volume seller won't get any special attention. I think my soon to be rolled over Lariat AWD Lux will be still unscheduled well into 23 while they crank out more basic builds from their favorite dealers. Ford hasn't been...
Maybe more than speculating if they are being honest. If they have more orders than allocations, and some orders are constrained, they probably know more than we think. Tne Bronco fiasco told these dealers a lot about Ford's ability to try and produce what they sell. Lots of rollover orders from...
I agree that where you order from is as important as what you ordered, and more important than when you ordered. I have a heavily constrained build at a dealer that hasn't sold one Maverick in the 4 months since I ordered. I'm pretty sure they knew they wouldn't get many allocations as I was...
The often overlooked way a dealer can squeeze a few more $s for themselves, trade in amount. They offer low thinking you'll agree because you're so happy you got MSRP with no add ons and just want to get into your new Maverick.

I agree, base non constrained trucks will get built for Ford's best dealerships before ALL customer orders for 22 are satisfied. Constrained builds from invisible dealerships are in for a very long wait. Model year 23 will be no different.
I've pretty much lost hope of mine being built as a 22. Just in case, I'll leave my $1000 with the dealer until I officially hear that it will get pushed to 23. But, I will not reorder as that will reset the clock with my crappy, no allocation dealer, and I'll be here a year from now waiting and...
You hit the lottery. There are MANY who have that build and not a hint of production. January orders like mine are already considered a good chance to be pushed to 23. So, I don't agree with your reasoning at all. It's a crap shoot with Ford's system and you got lucky. Maybe being in Canada...
