My dealer has already told me that it is unlikely I will get my Lariat Lux, ordered on 1/14, as a 22 unless I drop the Lux package.

There is far too much speculation on this site already. Trying to figure out Ford is next to impossible. Guessing at how/when/why is pretty pointless.

January EB orders that are already built are far and away the exceptions and not the rule.

Research your dealer and ask questions about their allocation history and how many Mavericks they've sold by the time you order, and how many rollover 22s they might still have on their books.

There are Bronco folks who reserved in 2020, converted those into 2021 orders, got bumped to 22 and are still unfulfilled and probably hoping they don't get bumped to 23. Could play out like that for the Maverick crowd.
