Just look at the #s. A few pissed off want-to-be Maverick owners aren't moving the needle with the billionaire 1% that make the decisions. F-series trucks are their bread and butter. The Maverick is a cool entry into a largely forgotten segment, but the rich aren't getting much richer trying to...
I feel for all of you getting stiffed by Ford and their crappy process. My local Ford sales manager says that no 22 builds automatically roll over for 23, they have to reordered. And there is no price protection guarantee. Another sales manager at a much larger dealership a few hours echoed the...
I'll be watching. Hopefully you can elaborate a bit more on a mention you had in your quick video from yesterday about the closing of current ordering. My sales manager said good possibility that all these late orders will get scuttled and have to be reordered as 23s.
Just called my dealership to make sure my order on 1/14 is OK. He said there is a good possibility that mine might need to be re-ordered as a 23 if Ford tells them they will not be able to get it built as a 22.
Lariat AWD 2.0 FX4 4K with floor mats and full-size spare. Seems random how they are built as I have seen a few December orders that have March build dates already. Appears dealership size and location are big factors. As well as any components that are currently constrained.
My small dealership told me 4-8 months. A much larger dealership a few hours away said 8 is more likely, which might push it to 2023 model year. I just ordered mine on 1/14.
I just find it curious why a salesperson would be so "honest" about the likely timeline when all you usually hear from them is to be super optimistic, they are in business to make sales. He actually told me with the usual slowing in production from one model year to the next, I would be lucky to...
It was actually the sales manager. SIBL was no longer an option when I ordered mine, I chose the luxury package, dealer said it would come with the drop in style.
I just ordered a Lariat 2.0 from our tiny Ford dealer here. I started reading all of the grief about allocations and priority numbers and such in this thread. So, I reached out to a dealer in Portland to see if maybe being willing to drive a few hours to a much larger dealership might speed up...
