Hey all,
I have seen posts of lowered suspension as well as suspension lifts.
I donāt really need a different ride height, but find my XLT hybridās suspension too stiff and not well damped.
Can anyone say whether their newly lowered or raised suspension rides softer now? I realize the awdās...
exactly. Donāt let the people on here saying, āyou only had a DORA, so they can do whatever they want!ā get to you.
The dealer placed a retail order using your name and deposit. This isnāt a dealer unit. Ford intends retail units to go toward the name who ordered it.
I didnāt sign anything but...
eh, air horns might be necessary/nice for 1-tons pulling large trailers all the time. Having them on a unibody sub-compact truck might be overkill seeing how you can stop or change lanes as easily as a typical crossover. š¤·š¼āāļø
But I realize everyone would like to think of themself as king of the...

If you are in Colorado area and like to bid over msrp, guess this is a way to get a Maverick soon. š¤·š¼āāļø
Full size trucks still have regular cab work truck options.
Just donāt expect a sub-compact, unibody one in the US soon.
Wish we could have the land cruiser trucks they offer in the middle east. Small, but tough.
Good points. Yeah, M-Benz did the same with entry-level CLA years ago, heavily advertising itās $29,900 price. It was to get people looking at the brand that didnāt before. A year or two later, the CLA price increased (and this was back in 2013 before all the inflation excuses).
Who knows if it is worth filing a complaint with Ford, but I would try. I doubt Ford would advocate dealers changing customer orders without permission, especially since they are wanting to transition to order-only system in the future. This practice isnāt part of their vision.
They wonāt do it.
They will made a hybrid small cargo van off the Maverickās platform in the coming years (if they hold to their plan). This will fit that use for those wanting to carry cargo inside the cabin.
At the end of the day, they may not even do the van plan. More profits in selling...
eh, Iāve seen Porsche Caymans with color wearing off of interior plastics, which is bad when your interior is tan and it wears to black underneath.
A few scuffs on dark blue plastic of a $21-$31K truck wonāt hurt as badly as interior issues of a Boxster/Cayman.
But either way, I feel the...
I wondered why they marketed it so much. Guess they think yuppies that are into carrying lots of water bottles will flock to the Maverick. I use cup holders for drive-through drinks, pepsi bottles, or cans. I use the door pockets for other items. I donāt think cars need tall bottle holders when...
exactly.
Similar stupidity is when Honda Civic Si owners (a car that gets 27/37/31) tell you they saw 40mpg on the digital display, so who needs a Prius?!
A Prius easily averages 50mpg, so the difference of average 31 to 50mpg is huge.
So yeah Ecoboost averages 25 (or 26 fwd). Hybrid...
š Forums will make any vehicle sound like a ticking timebomb that is about to catastrophically fail on you.
The Maverick is relatively stripped down and light on any experimental tech (think the opposite of the flagship BMW 7-series, showcasing the future tech that will trickle down the lineup...
How can that be photos of the tremor appearance package upgrade if that truck doesnāt even have the ātremorā sticker on the rear quarter?
You think they remove that sticker for the āappearanceā variant. Seems unlikely.
I think all order holders should back out and wait 2 more model years. This will ensure no further recalls during their ownership as well as cut down on pointless forum posts. Itās a win-win. š
Nice, but $23,990 was the budget for my XLT Maverick. I am not cross-shopping it with an F-150. Too big of a price jump (and it wouldnāt fit in the garage anyways).
My thoughts exactly. Not sure the OP can prove this will cause failure. Not exactly a warranty issue if it functions correctly for years. š¤·š¼āāļø
