Ha, exactly. Look at the photos of young yuppie-looking people Ford used with all the Maverick photos on the site.
They are all riding around on scooters, wearing hipster hats, and setting up outdoor concerts for the park.
Seems like few on this forum fit that mold.
Yeah, I didnāt pretend to know that eligibility of coupons and such, as I am not into that, so calm down with the all caps dude.
Either way, EPA approval sale date showed December and even if that is no longer relevant, Fordās email to hybrid reservation holders said early Jan for when the...
Most Mavericks wonāt arrive until after Jan 3rd; but I believe Ford can sell them starting Dec 8th or so (if at a dealer by then).
Youād have to check, but most discounts donāt apply to the Maverick. Your specific one may not have any restrictions. š¤·š¼āāļø
Donāt hold your breath for Ford to come out with an add-on cruise for you.
They might choose to make it optional down the road or something like the Ranger XL does, but that is only if the MSRP gets raised a few thousand.
Coming out with an add-on would only hurt their cause at this point...
You should check and make sure your dealer input your email correctly. Iāve received several updates from Ford since placing an order.
But yeah, ford sent out an email a while ago to all hybrid reservation holders letting them know the first hybrid trucks will arrive at dealers in January...
Exactly. And on top of that, iāve yet to find a vehicle that has the option to lay your phone flat or have it propped up like the Maverick does in the area in front of the cup holders.
Iām a big apple carplay advocate though and wouldnāt buy a car without it now.
Pretty sure the original post is referring to the Rav4 hybrid, not the plug-in Prime.
There is already a price gap between the Maverick and Rav4 hybrid. Comparing the Maverick with the plug-in Prime only increases that.
Heck, why not throw in the Ford Lightning while you are at it? š
I cross-shop price. My Maverick is $23,990. You canāt get a hybrid CR-V or Rav4 for that.
The Rav4 is probably the best of the three with 40 mpg and awd, but again, too expensive.
Price-wise, the toyota corolla hybrid le is closer to maverick xlt hybrid I ordered, and the Maverick offers more...
The website stats used to show 87 for hybrid. 91 is recommended for 2.0 to get posted hp numbers, but 87 is acceptable for 2.0 if you are okay with less power.
The 2.5 hybrid is getting 87, as it was designed to run on this grade.
Want a car that is designed for premium? Go buy a Mercedes...
Seeing how they are in Kansas, I doubt it. Most people there want to raise suv-based trucks to feel more manly when off-roading in the plains flatland.
I would have liked an XL had they offered it with cruise control and folding armrest in the rear, but XLT still doesnāt break the bank, so had to go with that.
I love the steel wheels of XL though. The front grille looks much better on XL too.
Keep in mind the maverick height is misleading. It is the height of the antennae on the roof.
Other manufacturers sometimes donāt count the antenna.
The Maverick ended up a lot shorter in person than I thought. The Buick Encore my wife has is shorter on paper, but is much taller in real life...
If you did not receive a confirmation of your order, check with the dealership or Ford to see if the dealer did not type in your email correctly.
Early Sept order? Yeah, a lot of people are ahead of you, so it will be a while before you get a scheduled delivery date email, but so long as your...
Itās more of a thing for sports cars. Usually reduces flex, but translates to greater transference of road shock.
Not needed for a maverick in my opinion. (unless you want to pretend you are driving what you arenāt.)
