I’m more likely to look at it. If it stopped when you reached “D”, I’d feel it and not look. Ram did it correctly. They were the first to go with a dial and claimed they modeled it after semi truck controls, which do not require looking as much as you switch between modes.
If it stopped at P...
Yeah, the bronco sport badlands stops rather than keeps spinning. You’d think they’d both work the same. 🤷🏼‍♂️ guess they took a part out of the maverick to keep it cheaper.
Same, plus mine has little blind-spot mirrors built in.
Even without those, the Maverick has a lot of glass. Nothing to complain about when compared to most crossovers these days with their rising belt lines.
Most just go off of their computer, which might not be perfectly accurate all of the time. People like to believe what they want to believe. No one wants to think they average 25mpg if they can convince themself they get 32mpg.
My mom’s bronco sport badlands averages 23-25mpg, but you’ll find...
Ever tried Michelin CrossClimate2 tires? They are 3 peak snow rated, yet can be used in the summer as well.
We are trying them on my wife’s Buick at the moment. They are quiet with no additional road noise.
I believe they offer them on Maverick’s stock wheel size.
I see you are in Florida. I hear car collisions are much more frequent there, but maybe that statistic is mainly for the large cities. Not sure. I know when I visited Orlando, I saw tons of collision lawyer signs everywhere.
Curious what the quality is like. Installed aftermarket acrylic gloss ones to my wife’s buick encore due to oxidation/fade. Not sure if Maverick will need them or not.
That doesn’t appear to be a maverick fender.
Does anyone have a photo of what the shipping blocks look like on a Maverick?
Some have said their other brand vehicles had blocks hidden behind boots. Not sure how to check, as the boots don’t seem to simply lift up/pull down.
From my experience Ram trucks still have pretty durable paint. Rams aren’t as hard to find as some other trucks. Ordering estimate is 3 months (if you don’t buy one on the lot).
fine, then let me state my opinion to the OP’s query that I believe the Maverick will still be in short supply. (though some items and markets will finally shift in the buyer’s favor)
Most people will still wait 9-12 months for delivery and proceed with their purchase of the Maverick. (versus...
I have a hybrid and it sits taller than the FX4 I compared it to. Ford doesn’t give exact height differences on their site though. But yeah, the hybrid seems taller (though probably not as much underbody ground clearance due to torsion beam suspension and all).
I’m sure a financial downturn will slow down frivolous spending, but it won’t cancel out the need for vehicle purchases completely. The Maverick being entry level pricing (still in the range of entry level corolla and civic) won’t see massive amounts of people cancelling their orders.
