I have H&R super sport springs and have a slight knocking noise when turning sharp at low speeds. Iām going to take them apart again as soon as I get a chance and look at the top hats. Iāll report here if I find anything.
My fog light wiring is completely separate from the factory headlight wiring. Iām pulling power from the battery and using relays to 2 separate switches, one for white and one for amber. You might be able to tap into the high beam power wire and use that to trigger a relay to turn on the white...
That makes sense. My commute is completely flat and Iām pretty easy on it in general. Did get a little bit after a 600 mile road trip but pretty much nothing after that.
Are you running the catch can on the pcv on the front of the engine or the valve cover? Iāve got one on the valve cover and it has hardly caught anything in about 1k miles
Here is how they installed the speakers which crutchfield lists as not fitting the maverick. Looks like they cut up the stock speaker and used the old speaker as the mounting bracket for the new ones š³. Not sure how I feel about that but I guess if it works it works. Clearance to the speaker...
Just watched his vid. Doesnāt look too hard, Iāll probably try that. There isnāt much room at all for baffles, I had to cut mine up and reduce the depth and itās still hitting the support for the window cables. Iāll just go without it and if they eventually get water damage Iāll just take it as...
Right now I only have the baffle on the passenger side so I can switch output between sides to hear the difference. Definitely a big reduction in sound quality. It Sounds like the stock speaker. Cutting a hole in the bottom helped but still not as good as without.
Right on, I just ordered some mega zorbe melamine foam which is hydrophobic. Iāll put that on the inside of the door and ditch the baffles. I figured reducing the air available to the speaker wasnāt a good idea but I tried it anyway because I didnāt like seeing the water on it. It wasnāt soaked...
I put CLD all over the front door panels, as well as the black plastic piece where the window regulator is. I didnāt want to remove that piece so I reached in through the speaker hole and put as much as I could directly behind the speaker. Marginal improvement to the sound system, although the...
š¤¦š½āāļø gotcha, thanks. Thought you were talking about the tweeters. Any reason you went with the foam over butyl stuff like dyna mat? Lighter weight? I actually ordered some of both.
