First eBay link looks correct, second one doesn’t as both clips are orange, not blue and it also doesn’t have the electrical connector. I went on the ford parts website input 2022 maverick as the vehicle. Search “emmissions” and it’s the 5th result. I haven’t purchased this yet but I believe...
Good info here, I’m going to give that a shot. Pretty ridiculous we have to do this though. There shouldn’t be tricks to driving a brand new vehicle. Then again, it’s the first year of a new vehicle, so something like this isn’t totally surprising. Hopefully ford fixes it with an update. I...
Rougher ride with H&R lowering springs, but not too bad. All of my vehicles are lowered so it doesn’t bother me. Easier to load the bed. As a side note I hope whistlindiesel buys every squatted maverick he can find.
I sprayed it all then peeled away the chrome parts. There’s a little gap between the “ford” and the blue part, so you can peel away the parts you don’t want coated. Had to use a toothpick and non marring plastic scraper on some of the smaller pieces.
I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic. I made my own intake with a AEM dry flow filter for about $80. Did air intake temp testing too and the stock box was only about 5-10 degrees cooler than my intake which pulls air from the engine bay. It did get a little hotter when sitting at a red light but...
Yeah I was just looking at them. They’re 10$ each and you can get amber, clear, or black. The lenses are also replaceable on these and you can switch up the beam pattern and color.
Yep. Hopefully this can be fixed with a simple software update to the trans control module. Too bad mavericks aren’t available with a 5 or 6 speed manual because that probably what I would have bought. I wish it at least had paddle shifters
My short term solution is driving in sport mode. Under light acceleration the shift points seem more appropriate, around 2500-3000 instead of below 2000. I don’t like the engine braking but I’ll take that over lugging the engine. Normal mode seems to shift to higher gears way too soon
Like it! Beefier tires look good too. I’ll probably do that when the stockers wear out. Honestly I thought the silver steelies looked good on your truck. I hated them on mine but it looks better on a black truck.
Vvivid vinyl tail light tint. I’ve never vinyl wrapped anything before so it was definitely a learning curve. Took a few attempts to get it Without any wrinkles. Easily removable if you mess it up. The blinkers I put a few light coats of rustoleum peel coat lens tint.
Same here. Although it does seem like something a software update to the Tcm/pcm could fix as @Fordguyw said. Hopefully ford comes out with an update for this.
