  1. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

Finally got my mav back from my new installer. Few things we’re going to do. Line out converters will be replaced with something better. RCA’s are low quality so those will be replaced as well. Amp ground wire is too close to RCA’s which could be introducing noise to the system, so that will be...
  2. DIY Smoked Tail Lights using Purple Zep

How long did you leave the zep in there?
  3. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

I don’t think I need a full blown dsp, cleaning up the factory signal is all I’m after. For reference, my dads truck is a 06 dodge with the factory infinity system and a pioneer head unit. It’s noticeably cleaner and well balanced compared to my maverick. If I could get it to sound like that...
  4. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

Huh, interesting. I wonder why they used LOC’s then. I’m looking at the amp manual and see that it does in fact accept high level inputs. I don’t expect a dsp to solve my alternator noise issue, but based on my limited knowledge I thought it would help the clarity of music. Pretty much every...
  5. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

Got it. I’m fine with that. I’d rather have it turn on and off with ignition instead of turning on every time I open my door.
  6. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

The amp power wire is ran by itself down the drivers side, and the rca’s and amp outputs are ran down the passenger side, so I don’t think it’s that. I’m not sure where they’re getting the turn in signal, but right now my amp turns on if I just open my doors (ignition off). I do want to change...
  7. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

I’d like to avoid changing my amp if possible. I probably should have got a dsp amp initially.
  8. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

I’ve heard good things about those. Debating on one of those or a processor like the jl fix or Keyloc
  9. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

No offense taken! Prior to getting my maverick I had no experience with car audio other than swapping speakers. It always sounded like this, so I don’t anything anything has changed since the install. Nothing is grounded to the battery. The amp is mounted behind the back seat on the passenger...
  10. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

In early March I had a local shop install a 5 channel amp, new speakers and a 10ā€ sub in my ā€˜22 XL. They recommended line out converters instead of a dsp but now I’m second guessing that decision and looking to get rid of the loc’s and get a dsp. While it’s a large improvement over stock in...
  11. It's Lowered...But... issues with Eibach lowering springs

Nothing driving down the road. Just turning slowly into a driveway or turning sharp in a parking lot. I haven’t checked the top hats yet, mainly because I’m running camber bolts and I’m afraid I may need to get another alignment after I take it all apart. I do have them marked though so...
  12. It's Lowered...But... issues with Eibach lowering springs

Awesome, I’m glad that fixed it for you! Not sure what my problem is because I still have a light knock/pop with my h&r’s
  13. (Almost) Perfect First Oil Change -- 2022 Maverick XLT Ecoboost 2.0L

Right on, I’ll look around. Don’t have access to a 3d printer myself so hopefully I can find someone who can help me do it. Thank you!
  14. It's Lowered...But... issues with Eibach lowering springs

I typically reuse everything as well, just struck me as odd that it says to replace hardware. My Jeep suspension has been apart and back together many times and never replaced any hardware. That’s what my buddy said, just a money grab from ford haha.
  15. (Almost) Perfect First Oil Change -- 2022 Maverick XLT Ecoboost 2.0L

Plan on selling these in the future? I’d buy a set from you once you use the new material. Great job!
  16. It's Lowered...But... issues with Eibach lowering springs

A little off topic but thought it might be relevant. Are you guys re-using the nuts and bolts for the suspension or did you get new hardware when you installed the springs? I recently came across the maverick service manual and it’s saying to discard the nuts and bolts when disassembling the...
  17. Eibach Lowering springs installed, Knocking noises.

This is my front passenger spring with the front end jacked up and wheel off. There’s definitely contact. Couldn’t get it in the pic but on the very top coil there were a few small flakes of paint that actually chipped off the spring. I have a gopro and plan on putting it under there, Hopefully...
  18. Eibach Lowering springs installed, Knocking noises.

On my H&R super sports there are 3-4 coils at the top of the spring that are touching each other at ride height. I think it’s very possible that we’re just hearing the springs shifting around.

Did you ever find parts diagrams? I’m looking for the same thing
