Well I will find out if the new battery is still alive tomorrow am after sitting out in the cold and snow then possibly there is no more parasitic draw. Two days before they had load tested my old battery and said it was fine and therefore wouldn't replace it and just did the software update...

Ok thx for the suggestion. I do have a smart charger but wasn't using it routinely until I had this problem. And with my issue there is no warning everything incl dome. lights working fine and yet the following day everything is dead. But hey this suggestion is worth a shot for sure.

Yes I have heard of people pulling fuse 11 with some benefits. Just got a call that they have dropped a new battery in it and they will keep it till tomorrow. It is snowing up here in Canada and cold so it may be dead by the morning after sitting outside LOL.

Yes I would replace it myself. The only part I would have to figure out is how to reset the BMS after the replacement.

OK thx! I asked her if I could pay the difference to upgrade to an AGM and she said that if I ever took it to a different dealership with the same problem they wouldn't be able to help me. It is all confusing!

Funny I notice that my garage always smells like gas after I fill it up. Once I have driven a bit and the gas level is down the smell goes away. I may have to check this out.
