  1. Hood Protector ordered and installed by dealer...used my FordPass Reward Points! Love the look

Shame they discontinued this one. I got a rock crack 12 days after buying my Maverick driving on the highway. Found this at the dealer while they were checking the Windshield, which had to be replaced. Haven't had a rock and rarely any bugs on the windshield since, due to the wind deflection. I...
  2. 12 Volt Battery Drain Solved on Hybrid Maverick .

I had the engine wiring harness recall done at 17,000 miles. No other ones. The only thing I've changed with Forscan is enabling traffic sign recognition. I did change the 12 volt battery state of charge to 95% recently, this is after the second battery started going to deep sleep.
  3. Three recalls done in 1 hour

I need to find a dealer to come over and do the 2nd Engine Fire recall programming, 23S27/23V380, only so I qualify for the Free engine replacement if mine has The issue.
  4. 12 Volt Battery Drain Solved on Hybrid Maverick .

Best of Luck! I didn't have any issues until around 11 months and 11,000 miles.
  5. We made the cover of a new Netflix film!

Also the Hood Scoop for the increased H.P.
  6. Updated FordPass app

This is why I keep Auto Updates off on my phone. Fortunately, on Android, you can always delete the app and install a previous version.
  7. Hybrid +12V Battery Replacement

No, Ford wouldn't do anything for me. They supposedly tested the battery and told me it was good. When I asked why my truck kept going into deep sleep they had no answer, just said I could bring it in for further testing. I bought the battery and installed it myself. Was going great until...
  8. Does Rotary Shifter suck?

Love it. Much better than the column shifter on my Sport trac
  9. Wireless Android Auto

For the most part, no. However, now that Google is blocking mirroring apps like Fermata on Android 14 unless you root your phone, the AA wireless adapter has a developer mode that can enable it.
  10. What ramps are folks using to change oil ?

Same ones I have, they work great!
  11. Wireless Android Auto

I've seen a setting in developer options of Android Auto that may do something?
  12. Wireless Android Auto

Just need to remove your phone from the car stereo settings. Same thing if you sell a phone or give it to someone else, you wouldn't want to stay logged into it.
  13. Wireless Android Auto

I don't even use the wireless charging pad for my phone as it's slow and can heat up the phone. I do use it for my Buds and Buds 2 headphones. Love the AAWireless adapter though. A typical trip for me with two stops and going to the gym had me plugging and unplugging my phone eight times. The...
  14. Wireless Android Auto

Mavericks don't have Wireless Android Auto or Wireless Carplay built in. The Moto MA1 is nice and on sale https://a.co/d/77OYJNS I used one for a year with no issues. Then was given an Aawireless adapter that works with Android And iPhones so I use it now.
  15. Where did you hide your Airtag, Smart Tag, etc in your Maverick?

A friend had his F150 stolen earlier this year, right before he was about to trade it in. The insurance company was about to write him a nice check after a few weeks, then they found the truck. Pretty trashed, and the insurance did not give him much money, nowhere near enough to pay for the...
  16. Finally figured out what the pocket is for!

I still have the 8 track player that was in my '68 Mustang when I bought it in 1999. I thought it was just a Radio until I was cleaning it one day and the flap pushed in. Found a few thrift stores in Virginia that had some tapes.
  17. Onyx EZR Sirius radio

They are pretty cumbersome with cords everywhere. There's the power cord/12 volt plug, an antenna cord, and the auxiliary in cord(which I guess wouldn't work on the Maverick, so maybe Bluetooth.) I have an old Onyx and put it in my 68 Mustang last year. Such a pain and hard to see/control while...
  18. Fellow Maverick friends - I can no longer have a stubby

Mine works fine. I get all the local stations with no issue, including HD Radio signals. It's the Cravenspeed one, are there knockoffs that get worse reception?
