I think that the way most folks will be driving their Mavericks, you wonāt really feel the difference unless you drive them immediately back to back.
$5,700 difference between my preferred ā25MY Mav build vs the Ranger build I would choose. For a ā24MY build, again the way Iād want it vs my preferred Ranger build that difference jumps to $10k. BIG reduction is segment separation. It was a similar difference back when I was mulling over my...
Iād LOVE to trade up into a Hybrid AWD 4K tow truck, but after 2 model year increases, Iām priced out of the Maverick market. Itās dang close to Ranger money at this pointā¦
My dealer didnāt have a separate QL but did keep a couple lube techs on most of the time. Usually, they didnāt care to learn enough about PTS to look up fluid specs, they just went by what the older guys told them the engines took.
Specific procedures for drain/fill and check level on the 6F/8F...
Agreed. My suspicion leans more toward the programming. My point was that no matter who performs the recall, in reality it's Ford's software performing the actual programming. There isn't much of any human involvement beyond clicking "program" so If that doesn't work nothing will.
For my small...
When the dealer prints your RO, any outstanding recalls should be added as repair lines. Any recalls that qualify as safety are done automatically, usually by whoever is servicing the vehicle. Obviously if someone is very new or isn't tech literate, they probably won't be allowed to program but...
I've absolutely loved my '23 XLT EB so far, but I admit I've been tempted by the high trade-in values and the relatively low cost of upgrading to a Tremor. That's the only thing I could see myself trading up for right now.
Either way, I hope you enjoy what you choose!
I will not insult you, or claim the truck will break immediately.
but as a former dealer tech who knows how expensive these components are, I am...concerned :confused:
Both dealerships I worked at (in NC) had insurance specifically for damage done to vehicles while being driven by employees (at the fault of the employee), and employees of the dealership driving customer vehicles were covered by Dealer insurance. The deductible was ridiculous.
HOWEVER, if the...
I run mine through once a month, usually on pay day. I splurge for the nice one with the spray wax and whatnot. Keeps the water beading off and haven't seen any scratches yet.
Just a random thought;
Has anyone here who's experienced the Deep Sleep no-start issue tried unplugging their BMS sensor at the battery to see if that fixes the issue? I've wondered if maybe blinding the system and running the alternator wide open ("normal", basically) would stop the issue. My...
being this new, I'd lean toward something inducing a vacuum leak, like maybe a faulty CPV. If you're still under warranty there's no reason to futz around with it yourself. Take it in and let them document the issue.
Correct, the DRIVER can manually select any of the driving modes that are available. That doesn't change the root cause, being that Emissions regulations allowing the OEM to sell the vehicle are written to apply to the MANUFACTURED STATE of the vehicle. This is why you are allowed to select any...
