Just finished a ~600 mile round trip to North Wilkesboro for the All Star Race, pulling our ~800lb camper with maybe another 200lb of gear. With the exception of the gravel path hills in the campground, it pulled it like it wasnāt there.
Averaged just shy of 28mpg overall in Tow/Haul mode...
All the spinning was done in the intersections lol the paths are way too rutted to be bombing down.
Also, I absolutely wouldnāt be out in the field if this were a hybrid truck. Thereās no way Iād risk banging the HVBM off the ground. That could get *spicy* and expensive in a way Iām not...
Thereās always somewhere with more weather than us, our winters are usually pretty temperate so most folks arenāt used to snow here. What we do get is usually freezing rain (like most of this) so when it mixes with a little snow and turns to slush folks get tricked into thinking they can drive...
Weāve gotten our second decent snow/ice storm of the year in the #252. Schools are closed so my wife and I are home for the day, but a family member who had to work today needed a ride home, so we ventured out to pick him up. About a 35 mile round-trip.

My advice, simply, is do NOT build to a specific price point.
my Maverick order was my first new vehicle purchase, and I wanted to make sure I didnāt let myself go crazy with the option boxes and price myself into something I couldnt really afford.
I set my goals at $30k out the door, and...
If you have an Ecoboost you wonāt experience this specific issue. Hybrid trucks have a pressurized tank, so the door has to seal the filler neck shut otherwise the EPA gets angry.
Good LORDT those flares and wheels looks nice.
Iāve not been a fan of almost any of the wheels folks have been putting on these trucks with like 20-30 tiny spokes. These things give me hard 4th gen SLP SS wheel vibes and Iām *here for it*
definitely, just pop the edge with something hard and you can practically push the window out (I know because I almost did it by mistake right after it shattered)
I always hear people talk about getting the first scratch out of the way on a new truck, so itās not such a worry when you scratch it again. Well Iāve scratched the bed up pretty good doing yard work, but today clearing limbs got the best of meā¦
popped the edge of the back glass with a pretty...
Preface: I do not have an opinion on whether or not you should have removed it**
The 50-state legal systems are advertised 50-state legal because they do include a catalyst. This doesnāt mean that some states, or the EPA, wouldnāt frown on an owner removing a properly functioning emissions...
I live out in more of a rural area, so my main concern is buying from stations that sell more gas and therefore keep fresher fuel in the tanks. Mostly Shell or Sheets, but Iām not picky.
Iām much more concerned about the longevity of my head gasket or turbo line seals than I am valve depositsā¦
