I'm with you on that, no scratching issues, if you let a dog paw at the plastic or you kick your doors open, its going to damage it no matter what you are driving. The quality as good as any other new car I've been in.
No issue opening yet, but I will know why now if it starts, lol. I looked at removing the prop rod too, couldn't see how to do it without cutting something. Thanks for the link
The ones on my jeep are very flexible and easily removeable, it's why I got them. I will admit these for the Maverick are stiffer and not easy to remove, we'll see how it goes, the Maverick needs something, the tires sling alot on the body.
I have them on my Jeep as well, my experience has been good and they have aged well on the Jeep(2 years). No drilling required and how they are designed there's no risk in accumulating mud or moisture.
Not quite what you are asking but I got some Rokblokz, went with the grey logo which was pretty close to my truck color, easy install no paint touching
Everyone seems to bring up "at 5K more the SC just isnt worth it". Frankly it could be 5K cheaper and it still wouldn't be worth it to me. I think there is a strong emotional quotient for a lot/most people when they buy a car and I find the SC elicits nothing in that respect, for whatever...
