I just drove it home across state lines on the test drive, assumed they were just giving it to me. So far so good, what could go wrong? Paying for stuff is for suckers.
Mazda could just team up with Ford again and rebadge the Maverick like they did with the Ranger back in the day. Might have been vise versa but they were the same truck.
Overall, I am pretty happy with Lariat lux package as it is (not sure what other options they could put on it, maybe ventilated seats?), with exception of the screen cubby, it should either be a bigger screen or no cubby and the manual rearview mirror (seems like they just forgot that part).. As...
I guess these marketing guys are pretty smart, for me, the Tremor is the only maverick that holds any interest, don't care about mpg, just want a small interesting truck that has some degree of off road competence.
Anything can be removed, but most of the upgrades are significant and integrated, from the suspension and suspension tune, to the actual 4wd mode and rear locker......not sure why one would want to.
Edit: I may have misunderstood your question.
The benefit of higher octane is preventing knock in a high compression engine, granted the engine will adjust but not until knock is detected, if a knock happens it has already caused some damage.
It was just an inch long place where maybe a buckle on a shipping strap made a rough place on the glass maybe a 10th of an inch wide, from certain angles you can't see it on others it's obvious. Not the end of the world but irritating.
For me I wished I had checked the glass better, had a scuff mark on the drivers window and I thought it was just dirt and it was a couple of days later after I drove it home(2 hours away) that I discovered it wasn't dirt. Dealership was not eager to assist at that point.
Those bed indentations can be useful, had a 2 by 10 laying around, cut it to 54 inches, painted it, it slides right in. Useful for keeping smaller things you pick up from sliding around and easy to remove for something big, 6 bucks for a can of spray paint.
