Agreed. It's a simple install with the Redline kit. I haven't had any issues with the hood release like some on here have had. Have you had any issues with yours? I'd also like to completely remove the prop rod as it's unnecessary now and keeps popping out of the clip.

Agreed. It's a simple install with the Redline kit. I haven't had any issues with the hood release like some on here have had. Have you had any issues with yours? I'd also like to completely remove the prop rod as it's unnecessary now and keeps popping out of the clip.

No issues on mine so far, had them on my Jeep for a couple of years. Is that some kind of stability bar you have? STEEDA

That's good to hear. Some MTC members have had issues getting their hood open after the strut install. One member installed a hood spring from a Jeep Wrangler which solved the issue. I haven't had any issues with mine but installed the spring out of precaution.

The strut tower brace is indeed a Steeda part. It fits the Bronco Sport, Escape and Maverick.

I'd really like to remove the hood prop rod but it's impossible without cutting the radiator support. It might be possible to wrangle it out after removing the passenger side headlight though.

No issue opening yet, but I will know why now if it starts, lol. I looked at removing the prop rod too, couldn't see how to do it without cutting something. Thanks for the link
