I finally saw a blue XL in the wild (what I am waiting 4 months on so far). I loved the colour and it confirmed for me that it’s a great looking truck. I love the size of it, perfect at 6” narrower and slightly shorter roof line than my Ridgeline. Way better looking grill too. PS I am only parked for the photo, but didn’t want to get too close to someone’s brand new ride.

(Blurred out my wife’s unenthusiastic face, lol)

Thats awesome! If you get a Maverick you no longer have to double park your ridgeline! Jk jk :)

She wouldn’t even get out to look at it, but said it looked great at least. I’m just gonna give tons of respect/ credit to the cool gals here that share the passion.
My girlfriend is the same way. She’s happy that im happy with the Maverick but could not give less of a shit if it was hers lol.

I've realized that the Mav looks like a toy, even next to the Ridgeline. And yet it STILL has more ground clearance lol

Lol exactly! Honestly 6” narrower width will be a godsend for underground parking garages etc.
The old Ranger is 3” narrower than the Mav. I’m not looking forward to that!

Yeah- I bet, it all counts. I don’t get how guys do such wide fitment wheels and tires, aside from look it must be a pain in the ass.

I always liked the Ridgeline but thought they were a little overpriced. Now they are more mid-sized (like all the other brands) making the Mav and Santa Cruz the only true small trucks available. Here's my A51 Lariat FE after I had the worthless FE decals removed.

Looks really clean, I prefer it without the graphics too. Yeah the Ridgeline hopefully will sell for not too much less than I’ll pay for the XL. It has a high end interior, electric rear window, sunroof etc, the big trunk is sweet, but I think I’ll adjust fairly quickly. I sort of wish the maverick also had a 5 foot bed, but really you just need a Ranger at that point.
