Twin A51 XLT at the Giant today

Just happened upon another Area 51 XLT AWD in our local Giant grocery store parking lot this afternoon.

Couldn’t believe it — We rarely see Mavericks around here, and had never seen this one. But figure it must be local if at the gocery store on a Monday afternoon.

We parked right behind, and my husband sat in the truck hoping the owner would come out while I went in the store. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and we drove away leaving it on its own.

I did gave it a quick once-over. Pretty identical to ours, except it’s got the 4K tow package (bigger trailer connector next to the hitch), and owner has a different tonneau, black letters in the tailgate insets, and has installed window deflectors.

Also peeked inside, and owner has jazzed up the orange accents with the addition of orange rings about the gear shift and HVAC knobs.

Also an Eagles fan, based on the decal placed on the front license plate holder. (We don’t have front plates in Pa.)

Anyway, just sharing — Too bad owner didn’t come out so we could chat, but maybe we’ll meet up someday.

Yeah, that’s us … all kinds of wholesome! I’m sure they would have noticed our identical truck parked right behind them, had we been able to wait for them to leave the store.
