My name is Josh D’Arcangelo and I’m happy to finally introduce myself on here as the creator of SeatDeletes the only seat delete kit commercially available for your Ford Maverick.

Website: https://www.seatdeletes.com/

I’m so excited to share our product with the world and we have been so thrilled with the response we have received through sales. For the longest time we couldn’t get product out fast enough and our six week lead time would often get stretched to 8 weeks and we did a lot of apologizing for delays in delivery since we officially launched in January of 2025.

This last year and half we have continue to increase output every month to match growing sales and have perfected our in-house manufacturing and been working hard getting our factory set up. Creating manufacturing and industry jobs is something I am personally very excited about, and our factory has now brought our lead time down to about two weeks and so it’s given me the opportunity do something we have been dragging our feet on…introduce myself to MaverickTruckClub.

I had been told to get on here a year ago and see what people were saying about us and it was heart breaking when I did. There were people saying we were a scam! I was disheartened and focused on serving our happy customers. We are anything, but a scam and very much a real company, but I also understand why this was said. Our web presence is pretty average at best. Admission: I made the website through Wix and I’m not a professional in the digital world, I’m a professional in the real world and have a passion for design and creation. A lot of people were commenting on here that our website was questionable and some of those post go back to 2024 before we were even officially launched. I was unaware you could find the website while working on it but apparently it was out there making us look bad. I saw other post saying our contact information was false and I’m not sure how to respond to that given others have found it easy to get a hold of me and make orders, but I take this feed back serious and want to make things right.

Please ask any question you may have! I really want to reach those people who were interested in our product but were unsure if we were real. We are real!!

I want to be an open book to you all and help you in your decision to go with SeatDeletes for your rear seat storage solutions.

That is very cool. Even though I don’t have a real use case for this product, I am curious how you deal with the seatbelt nanny. Does removing the rear seat somehow turn that seatbelt reminder off?

Great question!! If you don’t install correctly you’ll get a notice thats very annoying. Luckily our kit allows you to remove the seat belts, then plug in and store behind the trucks interior plastic. This keeps all factory electrical connections in place saving you from the seat belt nanny messages. it also means that our fleet customers can keep all these small parts in the vehicle and when they are ready to turn their fleet to get another truck, the stock seat can be returned and all stock hardware and small bits are ready and in place.
Great question and hope that answered it but feel free to reach out if you need any more clarification. Happy to help!

There are no occupancy sensors in the rear seats, which is why the nanny is so annoying, it just assumes that there are people back there and not buckled.

You can (even without a seat delete):
1) Buckle the rear seatbelts.
2) Insert dummy buckles into the rear latches.

I did 2) as I normally have a dog platform in the back and now the seatbelt popup either does not show if all front seat passengers are buckled when starting the vehicle or goes away as soon as all front seat passengers are buckled.

I got a hold of OEM Ford set belt extenders and cut the webbing off to get my dummy buckles.

I don't need this at this time, but if I were a business owner of a trade vehicle this would be the first aftermarket option I would install!
Keeps the truck from becoming the family truck-ster.

Thanks for the reply. Most of our orders have been for fleets (probably in part because of our bad web presence reaching out to individuals but we are trying to change that) and a lot of companies love our product because it keeps workers from doing family runs in the company truck leading to insurance worries. Seems you had the same idea!!

Welcome to the forum! Although, this is not the place for mature and thoughtful reflection. We do knee jerk reactions and defensiveness! 🤣

I deleted mine for $60,
18 months of regular but easy use, not a tear.
And my stock seats are still in place. Adds about two minutes to getting under the back seat.

Good looking pup! I’ll have to share my girl (dog version) on here.

Your set up looks great and I’m happy that fits your needs. I started with a seat cover myself and found it didn’t fit my needs and how I use my truck. If you ever find yourself needing more out of your truck you know where to turn!

Feedback... Never heard and good or bad.

It would seem to be simpler and more effective to have the entire back panel hinged/removable and perhaps use the rear of that space for some storage like you can get behind the stock rear seat back..
As it is, all of the storage seems like it's gone and you get a shelf instead.

I assume all of those hinged panels contribute to the cost, and pushing $1200 seems a bit steep for basically getting two flat panels from the seat removal.

Not obvious what it takes to get the lower panel off to get to the battery for the hybrid..
The website doesn't show much.

What I did not like about your website is the Contact page did not have a City & State location.

My 2025 knows when I have rear occupants.
