How long should the battery of the combination keypad last?

I totally agree. I have had mine for 8 months and it works just fine still. Just went out and used it.

Something weird happened.
Wife drove it on a short road trip (2 hours round trip) today, and when she came back the keypad is working again

I installed mine in the gas door.

Not a good idea on the Hybrid, which has a locking gas cap. You'd have to unlock the truck every time you wanted to use it.

added on my 2024 Lariat and salesman said 10 years.... Though find that hard to believe. lol

Sounds like he was thinking of a battery for a pacemaker!
