How long does the Vroom process take?

I'm expecting my truck to FINALLY come in by the end of the week and I decided to sell my vehicle on Vroom rather than trade it in at the dealer. They offered me the most out of all the places I tried.
It said it takes 2-3 days to get paid once they pick it up but after agreeing to the price it said they are behind and may take 2-3 days to get the paperwork to sign and then they schedule pick up to then wait 2-3 days.
Anyone sell to them recently and how long did it take from the day you accepted the offer to getting paid? I also have a loan they will be paying off so I imagine that will add time also.

Also considering Vroom. Still no idea of build date, let alone delivery date. Going to hang on to my '22 until '24 is well in hand. Never did like walking. Thanks for the info about Vroom.

Probably going to run my '22 over to CarMax and let them give me a sell to them price. They were $4000 higher than the dealer when I sold my '20 Mazda.

Give GarGurus.com & KBB.com a chance too. Both of them beat Carvana & Vroom this week for me.

Used prices are dropping so don't expect the same kind of numbers from a year ago.
Check out your state tax laws. In MD you pay sales tax on the difference between sale price and trade in.
So in my case anyone else would have to offer at least $1600.00 more than the dealer to actually be giving me more for my trade.

Also, Carmax offers are good for 7 days, get the offer right before you go to your dealer.

My brother sold a vehicle to vroom, he said it was a nightmare and it wound up taking about a month longer than they anticipated. It sat in his driveway waiting for pickup and then when they finally did pick it up he had to wait about a week for payment which they sent electronically. He also sold one to carvana and he said that was a much better experience, picked it up in a timely manner and gave him a check at pickup.
