That was one of the very 1st things I did to my Mav when I got it...Yeah, all that sheet metal could use some undercoating.
Are you going to do the under quoting your self or getting done? That was one of the very 1st things I did to my Mav when I got it...
Depends on the environment your drive in. Here in the well salted rust belt it is an absolute necessity. Fluid Film everything after removing all the felt liners. There are a lot of areas that catch debris on these trucks. These pictures raise for me a question: I am expecting a brand new 2025 very shortly and I have been considering undercoating it but:
- the sheet metals on these pictures seems to reasonably well painted/ protected from rust.
- under coating is crazy expensive and good for only one or two years.
So, is undercoating really necessary and cost effective?
the space behind the rear tire is open and can collect debris Mabett has made a filler piece. It's interesting to compare these two pics and note the amount of debris buildup in the taillight pillar area of the driver's side vs. the relatively clean passenger side.
Thanks. I have one installed.the space behind the rear tire is open and can collect debris Mabett has made a filler piece.
