My ASS kept turning on, so I also went with the FORSCAN option. There is the ability to turn off ASS in the map itself, but I haven't tried it.
I had a similar experience. Installed an autostop eliminator dongle on day 1 of ownership and when I bought the accessport from you, I removed the autostop eliminator and found ASS kept turning back on, so I also used Forscan ez mode to turn it off.

speaking of all that, everyone don't forget to uninstall your accessport before having a dealership do any of the recalls. several of them are reflash updates and even though you might go in for something unrelated the tech might figure they're helping you by updating.

I’ve had Cobb for the maverick for a few months now.
These new features are available as an update?
Are they charging for this?

I have an FX4 Mav.
I was reading about the OTS tunes and it seems they respond differently depending if the car in "Normal" or "Sport" mode. Will the tune load these modes into my car or do I have to unlock them to take advantage?
You have to add them via Forscan.

I've had the Cobb for a couple months and, as of this morning, the ASS has now flipped back twice. It's kind of annoying. I emailed tech support and was told:
"
Thanks for contacting COBB Support!

I am sorry you ran into that scenario. You can use your AccessPort in the "Troubleshoot" menu and select the "Keep Alive Memory" this will reset that function in the trucks ECU and then you will be able to redo your auto start/stop settings on the AP again! "

Yes, that will keep it at bay for a while and then it will revert back. Hopefully they figure it out.

Just fyi if no one knows, Cobb did take off the top speed limiter. On a closed road legally shut down I was able to get to 122mph. Could not push anymore since it wasn’t long enough for that.

I don't know if it's off or just plenty high (like 140+) but it's definitely not 109 any more.

Funny thing is the day after I posted it magically reverted back to disabling the ASS.

Oh, it reverts too? I’ve had it drop out twice in the five or six weeks I’ve had mine. Both times I reconnected the cobb and reestablish the setting pretty quickly. I bought a cable for forscan, but haven’t learned how to use it yet.

If someone running an OTS map wants to try a modified OTS map to turn off ASS and see if it stays, I'll make that adjustment so you can test. I've always just used FORSCAN, so I haven't bothered testing to see if it stays.

I'm presently running the 87 octane/sport transmission OTS map if you wanted somebody to try it. Maybe ASS might work better from there.

Since there are many version of the same tune for these, I'll need you to pull your current map off your AP and send it to me. This just saves the hassle of going through and matching/guessing. All I will do is turn ASS off and send it back.
