New guy from central Indiana.
Put my deposit on an incoming XL 2.0 the Thursday before the camera recall. Now it's just sitting there waiting for a resolution.
It'll be my first new Ford ever, is this an omen?
I'm a mini-trucker from way back, so many square body S-10's, trucks and Blazers, can't keep count. Looking forward to modding this one old-school mini truck style.
Hopefully they will sort out this recall sooner rather than later.

Congrats on your order can I ask how much deposit? Did they give you a time frame?

I only put $500 down to hold it. The XL's fly off the lots here as soon as they arrive. This one has all the specs I want, so I put the deposit to make sure it's mine.
Black, 2.0, 4K tow, 360.
I just got off the phone with the sales guy, they "talked to corporate" this morning. no resolution timeframe is available.
They have 37 Mavericks on the lot, but are only able to sell 9 of them. He said they are pushing to find a solution as soon as possible.

I'm pretty sure it's ALL XL and XLT's. The Lariats use the sync3 and are not affected.
Rear view camera freezes and glitches sporadically. Unsold inventory must remain on the lot until fixed. Not even test drives are allowed.

Is this recall for the newer models? Only had 2 recalls for my 2023 Lariat EB Lux since I owned it from Jan 2023. Haven’t heard of any recall about the back up camera. Both recalls were done in my drive way by Ford Remote Service.

Welcome my friend. Mini-Truckin should have never left! Datsun's ruled the scene here in SoCal in the 70's. Second to the Ford Courier, Chevy Luv and a few Toyota's.

Many in here have already lowered their Mav's and man they look mean!! You found the right place to find out how to do just about anything to your Maverick. Now hopefully you will get it soon.

Be patient, as Ford has finally caught up with solutions to a lot of the issues many of us have had for the last 3 years. You bought yours while Ford is putting the solutions out. It will all be worth it!!
