Hello. I joined a few months ago and never introduced myself.

I got a 2023 XLT in Cactus Grey back in August. I am in Northern California. Love my Maverick. I have put 5000 miles on it so far and made a few mods: new wheels/tires, fender flares, cab spoiler, LED bed lights, bed rails, bed dividers, speaker system upgrade, tri-fold tonneau cover and a tow hitch install (I removed it from my factory order for a better chance at getting it built ... it did get built in less than a year from my order date).

Only complaints so far: have had to do 3 recalls. One, I had to take to the dealer, the other two were super easy, Ford sent the mobile unit out and they took care of it within 45 minutes.

I replaced 2 vehicles with the Maverick. A 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab and a 2014 Subaru Forester.

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your Maverick. So you mentioned that it replaced two vehicles how about a short review on how well it did just that. Next but definitely not last how about some pictures especially with all the modifications. Most importantly happy to read your enjoying the truck.

Hey Carlos.

Great to "meet" you. Congratulations on getting your Maverick!

Now that you have it, perhaps one of your next mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Two styles/sizes available:

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

It has been great in replacing both vehicles. I hardly drove the Sierra, as the mpg was in the teens and gas here in California has been between $4-5 a gallon. It’s at $5.20/gallon currently. I would use it 1-2 times a month for home improvement runs (lumber, tools, pool chemicals, etc.) I felt bad that it mostly just sat there. I never really towed, so I did not need that capability. The maverick bed has been great for the normal things I needed a truck for. The Sierra was a short bed, so I probably only lost about 20% capacity.

My Forester was my daily driver. I was averaging almost 27mpg. My Maverick is beating that by close to 10mpg. My family fits just as well in the Maverick as they did in the Forester. With the bed cover, I have more storage capacity, so overall it’s better. I did have to spend a little bit to weatherproof the bed (weatherproof storage boxes, cover, etc.), but it has been worth it. Only thing missing is the AWD, but I only used it occasionally when we went to the snow or camping. The Maverick should be able to handle camping just fine.

Posting some pics. Forgot to add, I had LineX spray the bed and added a second cubby.

My bed dividers are cut wood, painted in flex seal. the boys like to hide in the bed.

Sweet! I grew up in Cupertino, but live in Roseville now.
Nice, Roseville area is nice. We thought about moving around there a while back, my parents lived there for a few years. Still have friends and family in that area.
