Well as luck would have it … I found a perfectly matched EB twin my Alto blue lariat 2022 hybrid on a local dealer lot … it’s also a 2022 and has fewer miles. So I am going to drive the EB and if I like it, will see how it will cost me to swap. Here I went from ecoboost to hybrid.
I had a tremor so definitely an efficiency thing. Also I filled my ecoboost with 93 so I was actually getting all 250 hp as opposed to the 225 or so with 87.
Ultimately for me the efficiency, cost to own, longevity of drivetrain, and the increased towing capability over tremor made it a no brainer for me.
but the EB is really strong and both are fine choices.
