I ordered my Lariat Hybrid on August 2nd. On October 30th I received an e-mail from Ford with Order ID#, Vin# and slated production the week of November 25th.

I've been following Tim Bartz' Maverick Monday podcasts on YouTube. A couple weeks ago he said that more than likely they won't ship any 2025's from Mexico until after the 2-week holiday break. My salesperson verified that I probably wouldn't take delivery until early January.

Bartz said that some trucks with the towing package would probably be pushed back until 'Job 2', maybe in February.

From what I’ve seen and read…The convenient thing about being pushed back because of the 4k towing is that Job 2 production trucks will have the Pro Trailer Assist option included. With the Job 1 trucks, if you want this option it will have to be added on by the dealership after taking delivery.

I own a 2023 Maverick Hybrid Lariat. I really like the truck but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to order the 2025 Hybrid Lariat but with the added AWD. I ordered it on 8/9/24 and today I received a build date of 12/6/24. WHOOP WHOOP!!!
How do they notify you? Ordered my 2025 9/11/24

The 25 eruption green lariat that I ordered will be the first 25 that my dealership will receive and is in the plant now. I recently purchased an f150 so will not be taking it. I am going to look it over when it gets here though. Someone will get a nice loaded up 25 Maverick in northeast Arkansas.

I was told the pro trailer assist in only available on the Lariat with 4k?

That's going to be a huge number of Mavericks held if they don’t ship anything until the first of the year. Probably over 20,000 vehicles. Seems like that would cause some shipping issues after Jan 1.

I hadn’t heard that but you may be correct. I didn’t need or want it so I didn’t ask the dealer about getting it.

If they are holding them 6 weeks for quality checks then they won’t ship until next year. I wonder if it’s all of job one they will hold the 6 weeks.

I wonder if end of the year taxes could play a factor holding them til 1 Jan?

I do not think the trailer option can be added by the delaer...it must be done at the factory. I believe the Ford Video guy mentioned this in one of his podcasts.

The feature/option is 100% not something that can be installed aftermarket.
