Hi everyone. Just ordered a 25’ XL AWD Space White, Hitch & Spray Liner.

It will most likely take 3-5 months to get, right?

What are must haves? Going to get mud flaps and the rod to make the tail fold down supported.

I’d like a relatively water tight bed cover. Solid 3 part foldable. Any suggested brands to look at that wind break the bank?

What else?

I’ll be towing a 18’ Pontoon that weighs 1800 pounds a very short distance and a jet ski. Other than that - a daily driver/commuter.

Suggestions welcome and nice to be here.

I would spend 100$ and buy a auto stop start eleminator! And get the bed side cubby hole box from ford for the bed unless yours comes with both sides.

I would highly advise to consider adding 4k tow package. It's a deal with what is added especially with the 2.0 ecoboost. Which I believe that's what you ordered because you didn't mention hybrid.

Another option you might want to consider is the 360 co pilot. If they add heated mirrors like they did in 24. Seeing you reside in NY I think you would appreciate this in the winters. Unfortunately I think it's a expensive option unless you want the other benefits of the 360 copilot.

Best of luck with your order.

Hey David!

You definitely need a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

See details at Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) ($6 delivered)

Congrats again on ordering your Mav and thanks for considering.

I would suggest getting a rubber mat for the bottom of the bed. I know you’re getting the SIBL, but the rubber mat helps to keep things from sliding around. Also much more comfortable to move around in when you need to be in the bed on your knees. ( Insert your own joke here) I have the Rough Country mat, but I believe Ford makes one you might be able to purchase with the Ford points you’ll be getting when you buy your truck. Have fun with your new truck.

Wouldn’t have thought of this for a second simply because of the spray in liner. I’ll order up the Rough Country. Thank you!

Assuming if nothing is on it - it won’t blow up and around or out?

Thank you!

Congrats on placing your order! The OP in this thread: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...lariat-tremor-carbonized-gray-metallic.56006/ linked a lot of terrific accessories for his truck. I replied with the accessories I got for mine (and I've had two Mavericks.). Sounds like you are already planning on a tailgate damper and splash guards. I still have my cheap-o soft trifold tonneau cover, but am probably going to get a Rough Country hard trifold.

I thought I heard the '25 already has wireless CarPlay - if not and you don't want to mess with a cord, I linked a wireless one in my reply.

Anyway, I hope your order goes smoothly and you enjoy your new Maverick as much as I have both of mine.

What is your plan on how you are going to use it, and for how long?

Speaking of the 360 Co-pilot option, I see Ford added cameras to the mirrors on some trims (at least on the Lariat). I'm wondering if this will give the Maverick a 'bird's eye view' of the surrounding area. We have this feature on our Palisade and it's great. Really helps navigating in tight spaces and parking.
I found a 3rd party vendor who makes such a system for the Ford Ranger (they advertise it as fitting a Maverick as well, but that might be a stretch). Here's the link in case anyone is interested. I'd love to have it on my 22, but not sure how to get the cams on the mirrors. Apparently, I'd have to replace the OEMs with camera ready ones.

I would really recommend you add the 4K Tow Package & Co-Pilot360® 1.0 for safety features and additional towing capability if the need arises. It's better to have more than enough than not enough.......

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking – Pedestrian Detection – Forward Collision Warning – Dynamic Brake Support • BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert • Cross-Traffic Brake Assist • Lane-Keeping System – Lane-Keeping Alert – Lane-Keeping Aid – Driver Alert • Rear View Camera* • Auto High Beams* • Reverse Sensing System • Post-Collision Braking Note: Includes Mirror, Manual-Folding, Power Glass with Blind Spot Information System Note: Requires 4K Tow Package on XL (101A) and XL (102A)

I would add floor liners for both front and back seats. The carpet floor does not least very long...

Amazon has some good things. I like the glove box organizer, and various pieces that add cup holders on the console. I like the extra drop in tray for the top of the dash (although maybe this will have to be different with the larger screen). I just put the plastic filler that goes around the hitch on the rear bumper (assuming you have got towing pkg) which cleans it up a great deal. I also selected a rear trash can for the console which added two more cupholders (there is a car seat in mine that kind of removes the armrest cupholders in my truck). It is all plastic stuff, but it is fun to see what others have come up with. I also chose chrome letters for the tailgate because I am one of the few that don't mind a bit of bling (as opposed to making things look as black as possible).
I also bought the Ford rubber bed mat which is pretty heavy (I have a cap anyway).
