Funny thing you say that the OEM tweeter and the Hertz tweeters are both the same size at 3/4 of an inch. Sadly the OEM tweeters are glued to death in that snap together housing so there's no way to use it with a aftermarket tweeter as it would snap to pieces trying to disassemble it with all the glue they used.interesting, you were able to remove the trim rings from the original and your Hertz tweeters, and then put the Hertz tweeter in the factory ring to re-install it? that's pretty cool.
regarding the pre-built sub enclosure, I probably would use a ground shaker or sound decisions box at this point myself. I built my own box and shared the dimensions here, but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as sound decisions. there's a 3rd option for pre-built just coming onto the market now, I can't recall what it is offhand but you already bought the ground shaker so you're good, lol.
What I did was I installed the trim ring that came with the Hertz tweeters, then wrapped them with 3/16 of Tessa tape which allowed them to sit snugly in the stock location without falling through or popping out easily. They sit firmly at the stock Twitter height.
