All hood scoops for the Mav are fake. It's just an accessory that you may/may not choose to add to your Mav. It's all by personal choice whether you decide to make mods or not.

After reading the posts on this scoop, I feel that if you like it and want to put one on your Maverick, you might want to wait 90 days or so. I think the price will be far less than the discounted $72 quoted.
