Speakers blaring static.

Right as I turned the truck on. I heard a loud pop and the speaker started blasting static out all the speakers. Trying to turn the truck on and off real fast didnt fix it. It stayed this way until I turned off the truck and left it for several minutes.

While it was doing this, none of the inputs for the infotainment would work aside from android auto. It only displayed on screen but nothing was interactive. I didnt try anything for the hvac so it may have still worked. No other sounds would play aside from static.

After coming back to the truck 30 minutes or so later, everything was working again.

Did you try rebooting the Infotainment System by holding down the Power+Skip Forward buttons for about 10 seconds?

I had that happen to mine early on. I immediately disconnected the battery to stop it. After a couple of minutes, I reconnected and it hasn't happened again. It's been about 6 months.

I have to reboot mine about every 2 to 3 weeks.

This just happened to me Loud pop static then nothing I am waiting to see if it will turn back on in 30

Have had some LOUD static experiences myself. Seems to be AA glitches. A few days ago I received a text message. Pressed a button on screen and the nice young mandroid read it aloud and asked if I would like to reply. I said no, and he said, "OK" -- then proceeded to blast my head off with high decibel static. Thankfully hitting play got me back to my music quickly.

Happened to me as well like 2 months ago. I pulled right into the ford dealership and the tech came out and changed my audio input to Bluetooth and it stopped. I tried turning the car off and walking away and hard restarting the radio and that didn’t work. Go figure. Just change the audio input to Bluetooth and it stopped.
