And Santa Cruz orders, wishing they had made a different decision.Yeah the Maverick is not an eye catcher. Interesting cause the size and MPG but looks like any other truck. Only ones you are going to get looks from are forum members.

If you ordered a Lariat trim level has Daytime Running Lights (accent LED lighting above the headlights), which should light up whenever the truck is on.I was in a bad wreck a couple years ago, the other driver didn't see me coming and pulled out in front of me. I T-boned him at 55 mph. My Civic did what it was supposed to do and I walked away from it. My Civic was silver and nearly the same color of the road.
That day I said that from now on I was going with a bright, loud color and DRL's to draw maximum attention to myself.
Now I ordered a stealth Cactus Gray Maverick. I'm actually a little nervous about the low visibility it will make on an overcast or rainy day.
I have F150 money, but if I were inclined to spend that much money on something that gets that kind of gas mileage, I'd be driving an M2 Competition or something funDitto.
Not too sure about that. I think most in this forum could afford a F150 but just don’t want a big truck. I’m in that boat. Just too big.
Plus I refuse to pay that much for any vehicle.
Yes, the DRLs help with how it looks, they only light up when in drive or when parking lights are ON or when headlights are ON. Auto headlamps work like you said and auto high-beams turn on at all speeds if there is no vehicle detected, oncoming or otherwise. If you ordered a Lariat trim level has Daytime Running Lights (accent LED lighting above the headlights), which should light up whenever the truck is on.
Also, I believe I saw at least one YouTube video reviewer who said the Maverick (perhaps the Lariat trim) has automatic headlights which come on whenever it is dark enough, and auto high-beams which turn on at highway speeds, and off automatically if there is an oncoming vehicle. (Although I don't believe I saw these mentioned in the features list on the configurator page.) I'm sure somebody in the MTC who already has their Maverick can let us know for sure...
DANG. I need my MAV. I need a freezer, my mav will have 10 tie downs but I didn't even look for the "power lift gate" option. Another reason to need the 7 pin trailer plug on the FWD HYBRID. DIY flex bed power lift gate for appliances, game ?and we are the ones that say to the appliance store...."Just put it in the back please, I don't have an SUV anymore, I have room".
I figured it out, it's because it's not a HYBRID!Most of us here on the forum are enamored with our little trucklettes. I know I am. I'm loving mine.
So as I'm driving in to work, my head's on a swivel looking out to see if anyone is checking out my new hooptie.
Whether at a stop light or just putting along, I guess I was expecting to be getting all this attention as if I was in a lime green Lambo. HA HA HA
So far, no one's given a second look and I started laughing to myself thinking what a spaz I am.
I could not afford an F150 nor would I want one if I could, if I want to drive a large truck the city near me is desperate for school bus drivers.Ditto.

I would too, except I haven't seen any yet! Believe me I look!I feel ya dude. I’ve been doing the same thing.![]()
Correct about the lightsIf you ordered a Lariat trim level has Daytime Running Lights (accent LED lighting above the headlights), which should light up whenever the truck is on.

Since you were able to post the info, I presume when she got a look at the driver she thought it was someone you did not know, yet. Glad she(?) did not smile and waveSaw my first one 2 nights ago coming home from dinner. I chased it for a couple of miles to get right behind it in traffic. Followed it for another 2 miles til my wife called me a stalker and made me quit. Women!
