What year? I would assume so cause that's not normal wear.

It's surprisingly common here. On a lot of posts there is barely enough room to overlap, if any. Mine is that way as well. I don't have any issues with it thankfully and it stays in place, but I see this post often on the forums. My area that does this often is the rubber "guide" seal under the passenger wiper. But you should be able to overlap it and fix it yourself. If not, then it's just poor alignment. You can try wiggling the pillars plastic too to see if that gives an extra mm here or there.

I have two small spots on mine that have been that way since the truck was produced. One seem between the plastic where my moon roof switch is and one by the rubber seal along the drivers window. In my case it looks like the fabric was just slightly too small or short to properly seat/glue underneath the plastic/rubber seal. Mine have not separated anything further and are barely noticeable compared to the OP. I’ve still considered bring it up to my dealer but I’m afraid they will make it worse as I read from another member that his newly installed replacement turned out worse than the original.

The fabric is pulling away from the support post. Nothing ever touches this area. I hope my bumper to bumper warranty covers this

My 22 with 5500 miles just had the headliner replaced under warranty.
And I had the airbag recall done.

2022, had it almost 2 years. This is an area that shouldn't ever wear

Have similar issue on drivers side front door. Poor fit, no issue with fabric.
I have a 2023 Hybrid.
Dealer ordered a new trim piece. Will see if this fixes the issue long term.

Sounds like they are all on the drivers side. Good luck. I'm going to the dealer anyway for service next week
